- I just watched "Exit Through the Gift Shop", and while I'm certainly not the most art-friendly person on the planet, it honestly made me wonder what, exactly, all the fuss was about. Regarding the whole thing. The only thing I could think throughout the entire second half was, "His name is Robert Paulson."
- What does pop music really signify? By definition, "pop" music is whatever is "popular" at the time, but I'm not sure that any of it is any good. Based on my own experiences, I would define pop music like Britney Spears, N'SYNC, and the Backstreet Boys as awful, artistically bankrupt, and ultimately inconsequential. However, I'm sure that there were people like me in the '70's who thought that Elton John, Billy Joel and Steely Dan were equally as worthless, and yet I enjoy the work of those artists. Will young adults 30 years from now develop a deep appreciation for Ace of Base?
- Michael Fassbender. What's the big deal?
- I watched the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight. His first guest was Morgan Freeman, who nobody can honestly claim to dislike. And what do I see on Red's left hand but a single black glove. The other hand? Glove-free. Initially, I thought there was some weird Michael Jackson thing going on, but then I realized that it was probably disease-related. And that got me thinking how sad I would be when Morgan Freeman died. And that got me thinking how sad I would be when Bill Murray died. And that got me to thinking about what an awesome "In Memorial" montage that would make at the Academy Awards.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
