Doesn't it get incredibly uncomfortable (like more than normal) once you get a few days past your due date? Or is that just what TV likes to tell us?

According to most mothers who have shared an opinion with me, it gets incredibly uncomfortable well before the due date.

It's incredibly uncomfortable about 3 weeks after conception.

If the guy's big enough, it can be incredibly uncomfortable at conception.

I'm gonna pick June 5 (or June 6 if Nexa should be on the other side of the world) to coincide with the Venus transit of the sun.

Also, I think the resulting luv-spawn should bear the name of this thread - for all time.

I was 2.5 weeks late with my second kid when they induced me.

I wasn't anymore uncomfortable in those last couple weeks than I'd been for the previous month or so. I don't think the baby was really overdue. I think my dates were just off. Apparently the length of the baby's fingernails is indicative of how well done they are.

Being pregnant can get kind of tiring but it's a minuscule price to pay to carry a child to full term. In hindsight, I'd have skipped the inducement. It was just stressful for everyone involved (specially my husband).

Sorry Moe...I don't think it's going to happen today.

Well, you missed D-Day, so I'm moving my bet to Bastille Day. Sorry, Nexa.

As I noted on your FB, I call June 15. Payday in more ways than one.

I will reiterate my calling of June 16, but only because it's my son's birthday.

At this point, I'd hold off for the solstice - wait for dusk of the longest day of the year.

Poor kid, if it's not born yet the first month of it's life is going to be overshadowed by a zombie killing chainsaw wielding cheerleader video game. Smiley: frown
