WASHINGTON — North Korea agreed to suspend nuclear weapons tests and enrichment and allow international inspectors to verify and monitor activities at its main reactor, the State Department announced on Wednesday, as part of a deal that included an American pledge to ship food aid to the isolated, impoverished nation.

So, we can expect them to resume uranium enrichment and long-range missile tests by about September, right? That seems to be the tried and true pattern.

Still, with a new Dear Leader at the helm, maybe this time it's for reals? We're such hopeless romantics.

Well, can't do much more than
(A) Try
-and-
(B) Actually stop aid when they stop allowing open inspections, etc.

We've been good at (A) for the last few administrations. Not so good with (B).

September sounds about right. Maybe November if he can't find an awesome enough pair of glasses.

Either that or they have a new reactor to work from while the current "main reactor" is being inspected.
