I can't help but feel a little sorry for the Paterno family. They've been through the Shit the last few months, and it'll be years, if not decades, before Paterno's football legacy can be looked at objectively again.

Not to say he shouldn't be held somewhat responsible for all molesting going on in his house, he certainly mishandled that situation. Perhaps leaving this world a humiliated man is Karma biting him in the ***.

Only thing I've seen interesting of this whole mess was probably a repost as the person I saw it from isn't really the cleverest/quickest person in the world. On facebook I saw:

"A bunch of Penn. State fans jumping down my throat for making Joe Pa jokes "too soon" after his death. Maybe I should just wait ten years to say anything at all like he did."

Sounds like his parents made an enlightened decision.
