I NEVER asked you if you thought minority scholarships were racist/racism. I don't believe that is racism either. So, will you please answer the question?
You asked me if I thought they were racial discrimination. I told you no & even said why.

Do you think hiring a less qualified person over a more qualified person, only because of their race, is racial discrimination?
In most cases, yes. In the cases of affirmative action, no.

Except that wasn't the reasoning behind the discrimination. While they were certainly part of it, it wasn't the meat and potatoes.
What was the "meat & potatoes" behind DADT, then? Be specific.

You're only wanting to believe that to accept that as a fact.
They are facts & you're either unwilling or unable to dispute them.

If what you claimed were true, then homosexual couples would have the same rights as heterosexual couples, since they don't, it only proves that this has nothing to do with bigotry as you claim.
They don't because of DOMA, which has been covered. Repealing DADT doesn't repeal DOMA, so they are separate issues.

Who are people?
The majority of Americans. I even linked them in some polls for you. You have yet to dispute them except to say "nu uh". Disputing them would require a citation.

I say again, actions speak louder than words.
Agreed, what does the repeal of DADT say?

Just because homosexuality is popular in the media doesn't mean that people in general has changed anything. If that were the case, there wouldn't be any prop 8 debates and people constantly fighting for traditional marriages, etc. Just a few weeks ago, I saw on the news where a man was suspended/fired? for cross dressing.
Religious bigots are good at marketing, but they only speak for a small fringe group.

You're simply creating an environment that doesn't exist.
I'm quoting polls that say most Americans are comfortable with the gays. You're free to disagree with me, but the evidence is on my side since you've presented none.

The Army makes fun of gays ALL OF THE TIME.. The only thing now is, it's always followed by "Hey, we can't say that now, it's ok now".
Nah, but people in the Army very well might. Should we reinstate DADT so you can feel more comfortable doing so again? Nah, because that'd be illogical. If only there was someone whom could present an argument for DADT reinstatement...
