See if Kavekk had articulated himself like that, I might have actually had cause to pay attention to what he has to say.

Unfortunately I don't think that was his point. His point was something along the lines of "herp derp you're attacking religion for no reason, when this issue has nothing to do with religion.

When you say stuff like "Yes, they're stupid. And I really mean stupid. Like, on the level of homoeopathy, stupid.", what do you expect? Moe's point is valid, but what makes you think people wouldn't just label you ignorantly biased with comments such as those?

Personally, at that point, I dismiss anything you say as legit.

No, that wasn't my point at all.

Honestly, I find your ignorance sort of sickening. You're British. You should, at least, know about the IRA, but it seems you've been paying attention to nothing but the very stupidest post-9/11 propoganda.

Have you considered that I find educating you dull? Your ignorance is like a dodgem car that won't stop ramming me in the back. Frankly, I'd far rather insult you and quote Portal.

That may have been what he thought his point was, but he's not typically regarded as the brightest bulb in the chandelier, I'll articulate for him where I can.

You guys make me look like fucking Shakespeare. I can see you're both invested in improving yourselves - you've obviously got some kind of word of the day thing going on here - but let's be realistic here.

I'm sorry the things I learned in passing over the span of a lifetime require you to go to the cabinet above the refrigerator and get the Scrabble Dictionary your mom left you when she died of terminal disappointment, but don't project your lack of basic vocabulary on others, please.

That's a pretty ****** attempt seeing as there's written proof of me using that word hundreds of times on this very website. Equally, your overuse is recorded in this thread.

This argument is so retarded I'm not sure if I should be happy about winning it.

It's times like these that I wish I could click a green arrow. Even directed at me, I would rate that up for overall cleverness.

Our family scrabble dictionary happened to be my old college pocket dictionary. By the time the kids were full readers and scrabblers the dictionary had lost some pages off the back. My kids are z-word challenged. Smiley: frown

If they're Christian - yes.

What a dumb question.

If the white supremacists are of the male gender, would you categorize them as men?

What word are you talking about? "dodgem"? I haven't used that once before now.

As easy as it is to win the arguments that you have with yourself, I think you should still take a little pride in finally kicking your own ***. It's almost like a paradigm shift in your universe.

Same word in both cases. The word is 'articulate'.

But you know that, of course.

Not sure where you're going with this post, really. Maybe Almalique will like it.

After all, a good Christian would never do anything against their Christian upbringing. Like be intolerant of people that were different, or sex before marriage.

Meanwhile in reality, the Bible advocates incest, murder, buy foreign children as slaves and various other things in this regard.

Elinda,

Christians aren't commanded by God to murder the infidel so someone acting in that manner is acting contrary to the religious teachings of christianity. On the other Allah does require his followers to do just that. Muslims that do that sort of thing are not despised as would be with the case of someone acting against their christian upbringing. Instead they are praised and celebrated as heroes of the cause and in some cases their families are well taken care of by their islamic leaders. H*ll they're even promised 100 virgins if they kill themselves for the cause.

I know you're a stupid wh*re but surely even you can see the difference.

Come on Varus, you know that I know that the gospel of both the bible and the koran are fully a matter of interpretation.

If you really believe that there is ultimate good and ultimate evil in this world/universe represented respectively by christianity and islamism (like in the stories), then you're more delusional than you've received credit here for.

If you don't believe this, then you're simply restating, in so many stupid words, that you're full of crap. tdlr.

Other than the point that Intelligent Design has no positive evidence for it? It is unprovable, all the evidence in the world points away from it.

Kind of like homoeopathy. Would you consider homoeopathy to be a valid treatment for anything? And I don't mean in the sense of the placebo effect either, I mean pure homoeopathy, water having memory and all that ********* Would you consider that to be an acceptable treatment if you were presented to you by your doctor? Or would you consider that doctor to be an idiot?

Varus, read the old testament, thanks. Also, check out what's doing on in Ghana.

Christ, militant atheist types are the absolute worst. You're banging your head against a wall and splattering your possibly diseased blood on the rest of us in the process. By nature religion is not falsifiable and some people are naturally inclined toward it. You're not going to argue anyone out of their religion on the internet. It is the definition of futility.

Give it up.
