Maybe fundamentalist Christians are taking a leaf out of the extremist Muslims book, using violence to get what you want.
I love it when you talk about sh*t like this; it's a tiny echo of all those times Dawkins embarassed himself, and continues to embarass himself, doing the same thing - only, you know, you're not a scientist. You're not a doctor. You're not even a full-time employee.
Where did your life go so wrong?
It's probably a good thing your opinion doesn't count for much and I don't feel the need to justify myself to you then, isn't it?
Maybe if you cared a little less about how you were perceived you'd stop, you know, speaking without actually saying anything.
Inarticulate ramblings aside, his point isn't completely invalid. As a group, the followers of the Judeo-Christian God have been using violence to get what they want far longer than the muzzies. They aren't really "taking a leaf" from anyone. For me it would be a whole lot more concerning if we were beginning to see a distinct up-tick in the frequency of incidents from the fundamentalist Christians. As it sits today, however, where the incidents are no more frequent or far reaching than they have been for much of the last 40 years, I say let the FBI track the individual quacks and deal with them while keeping an occasional eye turned their direction.
The difference between them and the fundamentalist Islamists is the pervasive nature of their militancy in the communities where they set up shop. Their messages are accepted and embraced by the governments of countries (even if only as a means to an end), where here even the staunchest conservatives can look their direction and give a great big /facepalm.
