Not to be pithy, but I was told in my business classes that the fields are changing so rapidly that the majority of what you learn today will be outdated two years from now. Since he graduated in 1978... well...

Not saying I buy into it, but the professor who said it was entertaining as hell with his predictions.

It was a stupid question for Ms. Brewer to ask, and she wound up eating her words. To be fair though, an undergraduate degree in economics is as meaningless as saying you're a physicist because you have a B.S. in physics.
