Yeah, I'm confused. The restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings, contrary to Locke's misguided notion, sucks horrifically. I've been to many of them, and on many occasions (they always show the UFC fights, and they're oft the only nearby place doing so). They're all bad. The food is middling. The service is, on average, the worst service that I have experienced in a chain restaurant

I only went once. The wings cost around $.40 each (here in Gainesville they're usually around twice or 2.5 times that amount), they had a variety of sauces, and I was with a group of friends so we had a blast. Typical service, tasty wings, low cost, lots of fun.

YMMV

Once, at Buffalo Wild Wings, I met some friends who were there eating. I sat down, and the waitress came by and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I ordered a beer. A half hour later, no beer, so I reminded the waitress when she came by. Another half hour passes, and still nada. Reminded her again (and quite politely, at that). An hour passes, same deal, except that she starts giving me attitude when I remind her. Rinse and repeat for the next hour. Never did get that beer.

I've got 3 or 4 slightly less egregious experiences like that, and all at different BWW's. I don't know why it is, but I think that restaurant kills the good in the staff that work there over time. Like how politics quickly corrupt well-meaning politicians.

Eske,

She was probably ignoring you because you're a b*tch. I mean who waits a couple of hours for a waitress to bring them a beer?

People stuck at Buffalo Wild Wings. Try to keep up.

To be fair, I would have either gone to management, grabbed another waitress, or gone to the bar. I'm more curious how you spent 2 hours there Smiley: lol

Ordinarily, I might do the same. That time, I wasn't really concerned. Sometimes i'll just order a drink out of formality. We were there for a hockey game, and I recall being engrossed enough in conversation that I wasn't sweating the poor service.

My favorite part is about how buffalo wings are apparently another culture's cuisine.

o.O?

You over estimate yourselves. I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion...

My bad, I meant actually Buffalo Wings and not the chain.

No, I was wrong. It's no big deal. I'm not sure why people pretend that it is.

That in itself is a culture.

Hissy fit? Lol.. I think I hurt your feelings. That was no hissy fit, just reality. That's what people do when they travel, they try new food, look at statues, buildings, nature, etc. For people who travel, there doesn't have to be a REAL reason like family to travel. Obviously you seem to not understand that concept, which means you probably just stay at home eating the same food, listening to the same music, etc. That's cool, just don't throw a temper tantrum if I call you out on it..

All this talk of food is worthless. Outside of Chicago, you put ketchup on hot dogs, so any argument you have is invalid. You lose any right to argue your taste when putting that nasty red stuff on delicious dogs.

I usually do one of two things when I'm forced to eat hot dogs.

Mustard and onions (or just mustard) or ketchup, mustard and relish.

Just ketchup does sound gross though.
