Now let me be clearFollow

#1 Jul 06 2011 at 1:40 AM Rating: Default
Let me be perfectly clear. This is hardly a worthwhile thread, but I think it's best to get this out of the way now, lest it provide further complications on this little journey through the internet we're taking together. Recently, there's been an influx of hangers-on and peanut gallery types making vicious and occasionally incoherent allegations about my character. Accusing me of "failing at being pretentious", saying that I'm a pseudo intellectual, attempting to dismiss me with such poorly formed claims and implications as "this is what trolling has been reduced to". Now, for the sake of clarity, I am not a troll. Holding an opinion that you disagree with or find offensive does not constitute trolling. For the sake of the point I'm making, let's say that I am in fact a pseudo intellectual. Turgid, stupid, egotistical, malignant, jaded, naive, supercilious, edgy, etc. Whatever insulting descriptor you can summon, I'm that. Are you with me so far? Probably not, depending on who exactly you are, but let's continue.

Now that that's has been well established, there's no reason to mention it in legitimate discussions anymore. All you will be doing, in fact, is restating the obvious. Now not only are your opinions stupid and worthless, they're redundant. You can keep your ******** to yourself. What I've just done is liberate you, a good 60% of the posters here, from the tyranny of your own idiocy. In this thread I've described and addressed every asinine comment your feeble minds can muster, so no longer do you need to feel compelled to share them. As a matter of fact, I'm so far above the majority of you that if I were to try to **** on your heads, it would burn away long before it ever reached you. I am your best in both semantics and logic, as well as a varied list of other things that would take way too long to transcribe. Quite frankly, when you try to "come at me", you're just wasting precious seconds for both of us. I'm sure you'll continue regardless, but you can't plead ignorance (First time for everything, no?) at the end of it. I'm only of above average intelligence, so you should probably be concerned at your own extreme idiocy. If, however, any of you should come to believe that you're able to contribute more than a banal post consisting of recycled humor, feel free to give it your best shot.

Consider yourselves informed.

PS this obviously doesn't apply to the few people here who are capable of carrying on a decent conversation.

Nice troll, have a cookie. I cleared up your writing for you.

You are correct, Junior, I can. The mere fact that I have an ability does not, however, require me to exercise it according to your dictates. You appear to suffer from the delusion that starting a thread makes you the moderator of it. That probably holds true in this forum even less than it might in another.

Your inability form the sentence speaks for itself. I think you'll find "your better" is the correct usage.

Junior, you simply don't have the experience to play this game. Come back after you've gone to college and found that there is a whole world out here.

It's not his irony that's dripping. I think he needs a shot.

I dunno, will you take it walkies and clean up after it? Having a pet is a big responsibility. You need to make sure to feed it every day, but not too much, and play with it from time to time to keep it from getting bored and eating all your shoes. Are you ready for that kind of responsibility? Picking up poo in the pooper scooper bag is never fun you know...

In a world where the fine line between trying too hard and try harder is so easily blurred, how disappointed must you be to find yourself in the stop trying category?

I think you should re-read this and share with the class what you've learned. Perhaps you should skip college and try an elementary school sentence construction lesson.

Artistic license, pal. If you should find any other alleged errors, inform me promptly.

You don't even need to claim artistic license, as it is simply the logical progression.

I can be more obvious about it, if you like, but claiming artistic license with a perfectly legitimate turn of a phrase is nothing more than a demonstration of your lack of depth. I certainly didn't mean it to be complimentary.
