To claim that the discussion has "advanced" in any sense is being awfully charitable.

Its what people without their own style or personality do to attempt to troll.

Not really. I mean, we could have a stock thread about pay disparity but then we didn't really need some poorly written OP for it. I get that you're embarrassed for presenting it though and want to take it out of the picture.

Which is interesting, considering that's not what he said. I realize these days it's considered "like OMG super ignorant and evil" to acknowledge any difference between different groups,
Huh?

The op is just a dumb rant. It draws on social courtesies to make a point about inequality, it lumps people into categories that have no functional purpose, it whines, and generalizes and ends with a statement of complete apathy.

I bet you could write something yourself that better communicates whatever idea you're trying to get across.

If he can't, he best decide on a different career.

If two or more people arrive at a door, men still open it for women? Really? Wherever I've been, the first person at the door opens it, and holds it till everyone else is through.

I wish. What happens to me most often is I either hold open the door or else try to squeeze through with the other person.

I would totally hold the door for you, Ugly.

And if it were a revolving door I'd hold it for Exodus.

What surprises me the most, is that the odd time someone holds it for me, it's usually a teen. And if I hold the door for multiple people, again, typically only the teens actually say thank you.

I'm still not letting them on my lawn though.

#38REDACTED, Posted: Jul 05 2011 at 8:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I hold the door open for pretty much everyone. Pretty are generally pretty gracious about it in my local, saying thank you or at least nodding. I went up to what's considered the deep south last winter and people tended to give me dirty looks and such when I did it, in almost every state between Florida and Arkansas. I was surprised at the lack of so called southern hospitality. It's apparently largely extinct.

I only hold the door open for people if they're elderly or holding something.

tl;dr, but I guess the author isn't abreast with the research supporting circumcision to reduce sexually transmitted infections? I realize many people are confused by the topic with the historically waffling findings, but at this point it's pretty commonly accepted.
