Honestly, I don't think 6 email accounts is excessive these days. I have 3.

Hm. I think I have four. One just for Facebook, one for purchases on the internet, one personal, and one business.
Oh, I also have a gmail account from when I applied at Google forever ago. I didn't think it would look good to put a Yahoo email address on my resume... But there is literally no activity in that account.
I have my primary, a redirect, and a work. Its been years since I did more than sign in to my redirect account to keep it open.

I have three: one work that is only used at work, one personal, and one for my writing.
I technically have around 30 more for the fake FB accounts once used for the little Zynga games, but those are inactive and I never actually check them.

I have 4 but I really only use 2. And that reminds me, I should check one of the lesser used ones.
I have a few - two Google, a Hotmail, a Yahoo, a Live, at least one from the old local ISP I worked for - some of these are inaccessible, some of them are just spam depots, etc.

The amount of email addys that Palin has, I suppose? Not sure why, though.
I've just got my gmail one and my work one. I'm loathe to have multiple addresses...I'm kind of OCD about consolidation.
Oh yeah, I also have separate e-mail addresses for HP and my contract employer.

I have 3. A gmail to use for my resume and other professional related things. My hotmail which I've used forever. A school email, but don't really do much with it anymore.
Any more than that I would probably start forgetting passwords and would constantly be requesting a new one.
