It's Friday :)
I'm heading out of the office very soon. We're refinancing our house - dropping almost two full percentage points and switching from a 30year to a 15year mortgage. So, we have a house inspector coming this afternoon.
I think we'll be doing a day along the coast on Sunday with some friends. Tomorrow is free time.

Have plans for some racketball this afternoon at the gym, followed by dinner at a Thai restaurant. Then visiting a friend in the hospital tomorrow, perhaps, and then going to a winery on Sunday with some friends.

Lots of bike riding this weekend if I can bare the heat. Other than that, I've got a bonfire Saturday and some homework. Summer classes were a big mistake.

Picked up a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout and have been loving it. I just don't get why nobody in my family likes stouts. They're creamy, chocolatey goodness. Also tried a Founders Dirty ******* last night, superb! Strong, too. Good weekend for trying new brews.
Been chatting with the girlfriend for now, tomorrow there's a Scottish festival we're going to and she's going to make a pizza all from scratch before we go! Woot!

I will be cleaning the house. I'm doing a refinance and have to get an appraisal. Figured it's a good time to shovel all the junk I'm not needing/wanting out of the way. WTF is up with all the extra crap they make you provide for this stuff nowadays? Over reaction much? Let's see. I'm refinancing a loan for an amount less than 40% of my net liquid assets. I earn twice what I made when I got the original loan. It really should be in the "no-brainer" category IMO. But hey. Make me provide two years of tax returns, months of bank statements, HOA payments, Mortgage bills, and while you're at is make sure that my identity hasn't changed since someone originally loaned me a bunch of money just in case I've been replaced with a pod person or something.

Huh. There's an idea! Actually, there was one time when I filed for unemployment only to discover that someone was gainfully employed using my ssn. The woman at the counter said this happened all the time. Perhaps I could use that name since it's already in the system.

Last day at my current job. I think this might be the first time in my life I'm actually looking forward to the weekend ending. Starting Monday, I'll be working for the Wisconsin DHS. Not much planned for the weekend. Left work early today for a friends wedding, the reception was rather low key. I think I might drink a bit and mow the grass at some point. Got up to about 90 today and pretty humid so tossed the air on for the first time. I think I'm going to play Minecraft for a bit now and see who comes calling tonight.
Everything sucks, I'm grumpy and I'm guessing somewhat dispondant. So i'll likely be doing nothing at all productive this weekend.

Smash and I were actually at a friend's "beer tasting" last weekend and tried that Oatmeal Stout...I'm not generally a huge stout fan, but it was really good!
