How is that by the way? Never actually played the first one, and the misses wants to pick it up for the co-op.

But how many eagle beaks are in the dashboard? Because if it's less than a thousand, it can't be called the luxury edition.

If it squeaks, it's vinyl, not leather.

There is somewhere north of 9000. It saddens me to think of you missing out.

This thread reminds me of how I sometimes hate my leather interior. Sure, it doesn't smell of cigarettes but I live in Texas so I stick to the goddamn seats.

I feel like a composite seat would be the best of both worlds. Leather down the middle, with a high quality fabric trim bordering it and at all the parts that you might stick to.

That would be great if leather didn't make you sweat through your shirt (hooray for 90 - 100 degree weather). Sure, on a long trip your A/C will eventually take care of it but for shorter trips it's still nasty.

I'm almost considering a trashy-looking fabric cover. I can't bring myself to do it, though.

Also: conditioning it. I'm lazy and I've already had to have my seats repaired, lol

They have these little inventions that start your car/ac just by the push of a button.
I don't have to open the trunk to switch out my CDs so let's just call it even

I do. Smiley: glare

The lighter/outlet thing in my car has been busted for a while. And what busted it was my last mp3-to-radio converter snapping off inside it. I haven't been interested in replacing them both, so I've been working off of my old CDs. I suppose that it helps that I'm still stuck in the 90's, so all my old music still suffices pretty well. I add a new CD to shake things up infrequently.

I still get CDs sometimes. I like owning stuff and mp3s don't really feel like "Stuff".

Granted, they get ripped on put on my mp3 player anyway.

Me too. My car holds 6 cd's. I listen to them all the time, and occasionally here at work I listen to a CD.

While I can recall buying at least 3 ipods for x-mas gifts for the kids, I've never owned an mp3 player. I could use my Nook as a music player. It has i-tunes, and pandora, and I can side-load music onto it, but if it's around I'm wanting to read with it.

Hey, new Nook released today. It's of the e-ink screen type (more reader, less tablet), and it's priced comparably to the Kindle. It looks like a pretty nice unit.

It is nice to have a few CDs rattling around my car for when I forget my mp3 player for whatever reason.

I just listen to the radio in the car. I've got a bunch of CDs I burned a while back but I can never remember to put them in the car. I'd rather use my iPod but I don't have a tape player so that I can use one of those adapters and spending 80 bucks on the adapter that plays through your radio is just too much for me.

My radio adapter was $10 but I don't use one of them fancy iPod thingies, either.
