The book is By Other Means, edited by Mike McPhail and 2 years ago I won a walk on in a short story by Charles E Gannon. Turns out Elnessa Clare is the main character and I died at the end to safe human children.
I'm bias of course this time, but feel anyone who is into Mil S/F will enjoy the short stories in this new book. The release Party will be in 2 weeks from today at Balticon45. Dr. Ben Bova is our Guest of Honor and of course I'll be willing to see about getting a book sign for money or lots of home back cookies. PM me if you see any writers on the guest list you wish you had a chance to met.
Now I have been told to go to bed after one long weekend, not that I will get much sleep and expect to be back checking the board in a few hours.

You're fortunate. I've been subscribing to this site for years and I still haven't gotten my darn magazines. It was only recently that I gave up hope and canceled my premium.

Forgot to add that I won the book and walk on character, at the Bad *** Faerie Party during Balticon43.
I won something at the raffle they have for anyone who buys books from Dark Quest books and Mike McPhail's wife calls me Mom, like so many of my daughters friends.
Today at the Maryland Faerie Festival, I was the Un-Selie Queen Mother, and got to live one day as royalty. Though the Queen did have me enter the fashion show, were the crowd voted that I should win a bumper sticker that she wants me to place on my wheelchair.
This is the only time of the year, I'm sure to end up using the wheelchair, for the Hotel were Balticon is held, will wear out anyone walking back to their rooms. At least today they only had me walk halfway down a hill to sit at the Earth Faerie Court.
And No Evil Gazebo to worry about this year! The one that attacked me last year seems to been misplaced.

Gannon thank me for being his muse when he sign my copy of "By Other Means" I got to listen to several other of the other writers read from it and others stories they writen. Have a secound book edited by Mike McPhail that only one man has any writing in it, But it's Dave Weber! who wrote the forward. May we see more of these women who wrote some great Milfic stories.
I didn't have a chance to go to any of Dr. Ben Bova's talks or panels he was on. Jonwin made it to the KoffeeKach with him this morning at 11, while I set up and watch over my vintage dress collection in the Art Show room. They were lucky I decided to pack the dresses, even though I wasn't sure they would be needed at the time. Turns out the person that was suppose to show some Art work today, as the last of the Art that sold, was pay for and picked up.
Already had 2 photos of me tagged on FB, but not the one I plan to share here. Seems that one very saucy wench was seen in the hallways Saturday evening and several guys asked to take her photo.
Jonwin had to drop me off at the ER on way home, as pain level made dealing with my IBS bit much to bear. Home now waiting in less pain, for things to move dependably.
