One thing that always annoys me about this story (as Locke said, I've been hearing this for years and years) is that white people will not become a minority, they will simply have a plurality rather than a strict majority. There will still be more whites than Hispanics and more whites than blacks and more whites than Asians. There'll just be less whites than the combined total of everyone else. Unless you're convinced that there's an unholy alliance between all the non-white groups (and I'm sure some people think this), it's not even news from a "no longer the majority" standpoint.

It's not like we won't still have the vast majority of the wealth, either. I wouldn't even be surprised if white people retain the vast majority of political power.
I always thought white people were the majority because there are so many different "kinds" of white. It's hard to specify exactly how many types there are, but I think it's strange they define race by color alone.

Sure his movies are bizarre, but I never figured him for this. Was Mulholland Drive really about white supremacy?
