waking up at 6am on a Saturday everyday is not fun. :(

FTFMe (Wahhhh!)

I wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't woken up at 3:30 and 4:30 prior to that. By 6:30, I just got tired of fighting it.

my weekend is going to be spent in loading software onto my new computer. It took me a week to figure out why it wouldn't boot up at first, ut now everything seem to be working.

2 of the DDR3 slots aren't working, so I only have 4g installed, instead of the 8g I bought. I need to get newer bios for MB and hope that will solve problem. Sadly ASUS site is down at the moment.

Jonwin is limping around the house. He's being all manly and trying to get things down around the house instead of resting. Looks like he is about to change his ice pack and take a pain pill.

I can't wait until the ship is out of dry dock and he can go back to work.

14 pounds in 2 weeks off of just dieting is remarkable. Hope you guys can stick to it. I'm down about 45 pounds from where I was this time last year. Pretty much where I should be.

And here I was, all proud of my -5 lbs. this month. Smiley: bah

Considering the rate for healthy weight loss is about 1 pound a week, you're doing well

Cool. Smiley: smile

I'm expecting it to level off a bit soon. I had made a few major changes: no sweets (a tall order for me), fruits for lunch, and a steady regimen of brazilian jiu-jitsu. I figure once my body gets fully adjusted, then the loss will taper off as I settle in to a good weight. I've gone from 180 to 175 so far, and I'm shooting for something in the 165-170 range.

Ack, RMA it! Bad DIMMs are a bummer.

Well I give you plenty of credit for making the progress, going from overweight to just hitting a healthy range isn't nearly as much work as going from a healthy range to actually being fit.
