Flea is taking off for her ancestral homelands of Virginia for a week with the baby so I'm going to live it up in ways I never imagined possible.

"What? I'm tired and I can go to bed now at 11:30 instead of staying up for the baby's late feeding? Hot damn!"

Ahhh.... to dream.

I'm on a 4-day weekend after today. I'll probably do some snowshoeing. I'll definitely do housework, and I'll very likely play some video games - I'm heavy into DragonAge Awakening atm.

Hopefully if the weathers nice take the dog hiking. Getting everything ready for the garden, basically preparing the compost for the tomato planters (got 75 going so far). Got a new rotiller this winter that kicks much as* so now our family officially has two tractors and a front loader and lots of lawn mowers. So the remaining couple acres may get tilled. Maybe, if the weathers nice, gather all the garbage from us and our neighbors and set it on fire in the middle of the field. Been reading war and peace, again, and over half way through so probably read a bunch of it while breaking from hiking. And as always practicing on the piano.

Gotta get myself x-rayed today. I got myself a nice Mallet Finger injury yesterday, and it hurts like heck.

On the plus side, the girlfriend is coming over for the long weekend, and she's bringing the puppy.

That link was disappointing, I was expecting more of a "Three Stooges" type of injury.

Jonwin and I plan to go to the American Visionary Museum today and enjoy the lovely weather today.

Tomorrow we pick up a kitten from my daughter and then let it terrorize our 10 year old cat Tony. Tony is in need of a playmate, so he'll stop attacking our feet and hands. He only started getting aggressive when our cat Godiva died.

Sunday the unnamed kitten isn't allow food after 7 and water after midnight, so she can get fixed Monday morning, along with a full exam and her shots.

I'll also be waiting impatiently for the parts for my new computer, that should get here in 3 to 4 days.

Gorgeous weather this weekend so we'll be out working in the yard, playing with the kids and hanging out. Tonight I am cooking homemade pizza (anyone have a tried and trusted recipe?) for my fella and then we are going to have some drinks and a fire outside. Tomorrow night we are headed out for dinner and a movie and Sunday will just be a relaxation day. Woo!

Long Weekend here and temperatures are supposed to be decent, around the 0 mark. I may try and get out and do some disc golfing, depending on how much snow is still on the course, of course.

You should put the "g" back in, otherwise it sounds like "No Way".

I've got a dinner (first) date tomorrow with a published author of steamy supernatural romance novels. If all goes well, one can only imagine what interesting and creative things may occur in time.

Really enjoying the Rift beta - pre-ordered the CE so I'll be in the early start next Thursday. Release is March 1st.

Also, just picked up one of these this morning (huzzah for President's Day 40% off sale) so I plan to be playing it throughout the weekend as well.

As the weather is awesome now, I'll be doing a lot of walking with the beasties. The downside - major pooper-scooping of the backyard now that the snow has all melted...yeehaaa...

But mostly, Rift - once you get out of the starting area, the game world is pretty awesome. Hop in the open beta to check it out! Look for Snorre or Haemish on Byriel server.

May but the 'g' back in. Name isn't set in stone yet. Our vet has been able to come up with purrfect names for 3 cats we adopted or rescued.

My Computer parts came while I was out side working in the garden. Jonwin is picking up his computer from the shop and once everything is finished we will have one extra computer for back upSmiley: smile

Visit to the American Visionary Art Museum was canceled, when I found out that my newegg order was on the truck for delivery.

Now to put up my hair and clean off the table, so I can get started on new computer.

You too? My wife and I just started on the Belmont server, and I just made it out of the newbie area. It's...well...a pretty, nice-looking MMORPG. At a certain point, most of them seem interchangeable, with small variations in world stories. It does run pretty well on my low-ball system, though.

This is the first weekend since before the holidays that I don't have some family gathering going on. I'm planning on complete vegetation. The only thing I *have* to do is swing by a friends house to feed their dog and cat Saturday evening whilst they're at a wedding. I've got some things to do around the house. One of which is to pull that stupid plant that's growing back in my teeny-tiny yard. Last time, it grew to like 12 feet and I paid to have it removed. It's some kind of razor-wire like bush thing that grows really fast and is considered a pest. I noticed a small shoot coming out of the ground about 6 weeks ago, and have been ignoring it. It's now about 2 feet tall. I'm not letting that thing get so big this time. It's man vs plant and I plan to win!

Yup, I've got some toons on Belmont also, mostly Guardian side and 1 Defiant. All just about out of the newbie zone. What side are you all playing? I dig the Defiant back story but play Guardian because I like the Humans, High Elves and most importantly, Dwarves. I like the Bahmi on the Defiant side, too. Playing as Snorre, Haemish (Guardian) and Wonk (Defiant) so feel free to send me a tell if ya want to group up. Nadenu is also on Belmont but we haven't been on at the same time yet.

Fixing a computer, painting a couple bathrooms, then not doing a miror frame project because they sent the wrong parts. Other than that, I dunno.
