Working on a business plan to expand our family business beyond the hospitality industry. It could involve fucking over stupid people and most certainly, takes advantage of their stupidity. Smiley: thumbsup

Probably the kind that can be easily bribed with peanut butter to do weird things.

It's Noah's birthday this weekend but any real plans will have to be put off for a while since we're all sick here and the husband and I both have to work this weekend.

Yes, and it's small profit for us. But, if it turns out to be profitable, I'll be able to convince a friend of mine to get involved, and he's the workhorse that makes a huge profit very possible as he's in the top 2-3 in his field in our locale.

Hubbys arriving home from Afghanistan just as I leave for a criminological theories class.

What kind of dog? We got a pug and he has just been wonderful to and with the children. Incredibly patient with them, protective and even jumps into the bath with them.

Birthday party for cousin's hubby tonight.

Tomorrow, watching the Naval aviation centennial flyover from VIP seats on the USS Midway. Yes, Kao, I aim to buy a program and send it to you with a ton of pictures. Just grue me.

Sunday, yardwork.

For doggies, I have an ankle biter in the form of a Pomeranian/American Eskimo mutt. Adorably cute as hell, but also the biggest yipper. Other dog is a big, lazy floppy dog in the form of a Great Dane/Mastiff/Hound. 125 pound of a lapdog. He'll try to sprawl all over anyone who is sitting down. And when you push him off he gets the hurtest look on the face.

#11REDACTED, Posted: Feb 11 2011 at 2:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) German Sheppard and Great Dane here. Both are great dogs. They've been trained to chase off govn bureaucrats and democrats. So far so good.

2.0 picked out a cockapoo. It'll work better for my wife than a lot of other dogs, and it'll be to scale for my house.

It's Jack's birthday this weekend. Four years young, baby.

Just chillin' out and enjoying the warmer weather after we were all sick last weekend. :)

No, we're not getting a rescue. Not for the first dog. I want 2.x to have the experience of a puppy that I had. I'm all for rescue dogs, just not this time around.

Got yet another birthday party this weekend (that's three in a row now). Should be fun and low key at least. I plan on serious relaxation other than that. Work dumped a project that I thought I had another 3 weeks to finish onto my lap, and presented me with one of the more annoying software/image problems I've dealt with in awhile. I hate vendors who can't adequately separate their system images from their software versions.

Also, resuming my weekly rpg night finally. Technically restarted last weekend, but that was more of a potluck/housewarming thing. My friend's new house is great. They got the floors done and most of the stuff we helped them move in squared away. The gaming/dining area is absolutely *huge*. And it's got a nearby wet bar, so that's a plus IMO. In my experience a liquored up GM is usually less likely to kill off your characters. Well, depends on the GM, I suppose... ;)

Oh. I'll probably see if I can finish off conquering the world in my latest CivV game as Monty. I'm in a bit of a picklement, since I decided to use the earth map, and somehow I ended out completely alone on the entire north/south American continent. That's not as advantageous as one might think.

I have a wierd weekend....

Tomorrow morning I have a meeting with a humanist speaker to work out what the family want her to say at my dads funeral and work through a whole load of political BS over what I should include in the eulogy i will be giving at the funeral on Weds after said humanist speaker. I am determined that what I have written is what my dad would want and my friends who knew him agree it's right for the occasion but two of my sisters are having a major ********* over something irrelevant and it's turning into a drama.

Then i have to visit mother to keep her sweet before going out for my best friends wifes 30th birthday meal.

Sunday will be spent with one of the above sisters having a meal, trying to rebuild some bridges and trying to arrange something for my mom's 70th birthday which is on Monday but has been somewhat swept under that carpet what with my dad being so ill before his death.

Anyone want to trade?

Guess what? Thom's birthday is tomorrow, too!

I have to put the Dodge back together. Blew the transmission cooling line today - great fun. The wife went down to Westchester for the weekend to see her ma and some friends.
