I'm a lurker, here is a documentary on Israel and the West Bank. It's by Louis Theroux, whom I find interesting and objective. Anyway, make up your own minds:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00ybyxp/Louis_Theroux_Ultra_Zionists/

I remember someone posted a proxy link a few months ago if you're outside GB.

Less handholding and more a stark realization that no one cares enough to click on your "you should watch this!" links, much less go through additional effort for the privilege.

I apologize if you had trouble Jophiel. My intention was only to show those who may be interested another documentary. Again, I am very sorry for your problem.

In his defence it IS a very interesting documentary. and if he's British he's born with a chip on his shoulder, it comes naturally.

I thought that was a sense of self-loathing over loss of empire.

That's a given, being Scottish.

In his defense, I thought only the English considered themselves British and everyone else considers themselves to be that of their actual country.

In my experience everyone here considers themselves to be their countries nationality first and foremost. It's not very common for English people to say they are British as opposed to English. Just my experience though, others might feel differently.

Calling a Canadian an American is one of the best insults you could ever throw at one. Calling one a North American isn't though. inferiority complex, ya know?

Fair enough. I suppose what I really meant when saying that, is that's how I tend to view it.

I never really thought about it before, but I guess there are worse things than being called an American.
