I must wash my car this weekend and of course, there's the ongoing snow removal. How's that for exciting?

I've got no big plans that I'm aware of. The husband and I are still trying to celebrate our anniversary (it was on the 20th)- maybe we'll do that.

What's everyone else doing?

It happens (my husband sometimes makes plans for me/us that he forgets to mention). Nothing mystical about it at all...:(

Taking my cat to the vet today so the stiches can be removed. She's getting around rather well now with just 3 legs. Picking up a replacement TV too because the one in our bedroom finally died after 19 years of heavy use.

Tomorrow, grocery shopping and yard work. also need to make Ray sit down and finish up his homework for the week now that he started classes. I've got a phone conference

Sunday, house chores and Pro Bowl.

Going to spend the night curled up with a glass of grape juice, a bowl of pretzel M&Ms, and Neil Gaiman's "Anansi Boys." Gotta maintain my title of the hippest bachelor on earth, you know.

Saturday, heading out to the Eagle to cheer on a friend of mine who's in the Mr. Minneapolis Eagle competition. It's basically a macho beauty pageant that makes no bones about being all about sex. One of the events is an erotic story reading. Good times.

Sunday will be spent with some hair of the dog, and a design project I kinda slacked on all week.

Bought a plane ticket yesterday to see an old friend over spring break. We're driving back because she's moving back over here. Smiley: grin

BUT, I've just been informed that I have to try balut when I visit.

Thumb, what does it taste like?

It tastes like chicken...er...duck. Smiley: lol

No, but seriously, you have to mentally get past the idea that you'r eating a late-term duck abortion.

Like a hard boiled egg, but the texture is not of a hard boiled egg. Do not - DO NOT - eat it without dipping it into the chili/vinegar sauce and add salt. Be a tad on the liberal side with the salt and the chili sauce.

And don't worry if you actually crunch down on the beak. It happens.

'Nuff said.

Me, I just got home from spending ten hours in a Bank of America server roomcloset, baby-sitting a disaster of a new server configuration/rebuild. This weekend, I'm going to prep for my Dell certifications next weeklounge around.

Helicopter repair parts arrived!!! The MSR and the 4G6S will both be operational tomorrow. Now if only the rain would go away so I could fly them and the hornet out doors!

Other than that, no real plans.

I spent all day today cleaning out my old house where I grew up. It's still a little rough on me as the ones who raised me died just last year. Aside from all that and some philosophy homework, I have very little planned this weekend. I'm going on a bike trip tomorrow, since it's just over 60 degrees.

Today I chat with a guy who runs his own strategy firm.

It might be a bit awkward because I'm sleeping with his ex.

Of course, this will require a follow-up thread.

Clutch change and some minor tweaks to the ECU for me. Maybe some more "trying" to like FF14.

Not much else.
