Of course this is no surprise to people who already knew Obama was a weak willed commy sympathizer.

I guess when even Rasmussen is reporting a climbing approval rating over 50% for Obama, stories about scary piano songs are what you need to feel better :)

Title would have been better as "Obama submits to pianist."

Because it sounds like *****.

I bet he played it pretty well, so unless they got a crappy performance, huzzah!

What would you like, Varus, a declaration of war because he was insulting? Imprisonment? Sanctions, a shift in foreign policy, a KoS order if Lang Lang ever steps foot on US soil again after we kick him out?

The song itself was written for a wartime film (Korean War), but had no reference to a particular war, instead being about a Chinese citizen (probably a soldier, although it's not mentioned) missing his home. According to folks involved with the pianist himself, he just knew it was a popular Chinese folk song, and didn't realize some in the West ascribe it to politics.

I also don't understand the title. Who is Chan? All I can think of is that Varus is trying to tie is something "Asian?"

Well how about not allowing the communists play anti-american songs in the whitehouse for starters.

And it already happened, so what do you want to do? Dance, scarecrow, dance!

This is just another example illustrating Obama's affinity for communist dictators.

So... you're saying Obama hired a renowned Chinese pianist to purposefully insult the Americans? Smiley: dubious

China's government is at odds with the Dali Lama's views, and hold over a trillion dollars worth of our debt. Why do you hate our capitalistic economy?

Edit: I mean the Chinese hold that debt, not their government.

I'm not saying anything. Obama did hire a renowned chinese pianist who did play a song that that was insulting to every US service member who served in Korea. The question you should be asking is what can you do about it.

Me? Nothing. Nor do I want to do anything about it. You're the one with a chip on your shoulder. I'd ask what you can do, but apparently the answer is "Complain and be insulted!"

lol...like the good little liberal you are.

Confusing. Liberals support the Dali Lama's philosophy in general. So... yeah? I think he's a great guy from what I've heard, but I also don't want to cripple the economy by trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill like you apparently do.
