I heard somewhere that this was just a joke, and Robertson didn't actually say that. It was on the radio, on NPR, I think. Some segment on All Things Considered where some guy was talking about mean things said in 2010?

The part that is kind of sad is it was almost believable until the whole bit near the end where it said, 'the televangelist said, "I think God probably wonders, if these people are really straight, then what are they doing in New York?"'
