I saw this as a two-part image a few months ago in the FFXIV forums - the first image was the motherload of charts, showing physical differences among humans (both male and female) based on where they live in the world, detailing everything from typical facial features and frame to body hair patterns. IIRC the second image was a map showing each racial type's distribution. Here are a few examples of what I'm looking for:
Basic Face Shapes
Female Body Shapes
Racial Face Types
I'm not an expert on this stuff by any means, so I've spent the past two hours going through Google and finding terms that might lead me to what I was looking for (human physiology/physiological differences, surface anatomy, somatotypes, etc). So far though, I've had no luck. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can post the pictures, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm pretty it was in General Discussion section. The thread itself was made during alpha/beta of FFXIV, shortly after SE revealed screenshots of character creation.

Unfortunately that isn't too helpful to me when searching. What I really need is a word from either the thread title or a post within it.
I tried a few guesses with search terms like "faces, somatotypes, races," but eitehr there were no returns (somatotypes) or far too many returns (races) to be worth searching through.

Perhaps things like "character customization," "body types," and/or "race selection." This thread was pretty big; at the time I read it it was six pages long.
I checked each of those and did not see any posts with links about racial traits or that appeared to discuss such a topic. Sorry, I wish you the best of luck in finding what you're looking for.

OP, do you remember any words in the title? Do you have a more specific time frame of when the thread was? Do you remember any specific posters who posted in it? Any one of those things will make it 100x easier to find.
Edit: searches of the ff14 forums appear to be broken. Searching common phrases resulted in nothing sooner than november, so i searched the entire forum, and only got 30,677 results. ~20 of which were in october, and 5 were before that. Not going to get anywhere by searching i'm afraid.
edit2: searching everything will still return =152 posts, though that's kind of a pain. If you remember anyone who posted in the thread even once, i can still find it easily though.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific about the post I'm looking for; it was so long ago that I actually saw it, and my memory isn't that great to begin with. If I remember correctly, the post itself was arguing that the character creation system was very limited, and the related pictures were there to prove a point. Other than that though, I can't remember anything :(

Because searching posts older than november 2nd isn't working properly for the ff14 forums, i'm afraid there's no reasonable way we'll be to find it, unless you can either remember a name of someone who posted in the thread, the thread title, or at least a more accurate time frame. i'd have to manually go through thousands of results, with no guarentee of even finding it after that.

Also, I might as well explain why I wanted these so bad in the first place: I'm currently in art school and looking to work in the comic book industry, and these charts are pretty much the ultimate cheat-sheet for character design.
