I'm going to my friend's place way on the North end of town. He threw a shaker last year that I regretted missing, this year will be different!

I dislike being out on New Years. I don't trust the other drivers. My husband and I will be at home, playing video games and getting pleasantly drunk. Smiley: boozing

I have the day off so we are going to an early dinner and then a hockey game. We'll finish out the night with my gf's family drinking and playing games.

We're not doing much. We'll have dinner out at one of my fav restaurants. That will force us to at least dress up a bit. I imagine we'll be home by tenish though. We've tentatively planned on champagne and card-games with my son and his gf til we ring in the new year with **** Clark.

Well, this year we were invited to many shindigs at other people's homes as well as NYE events at various clubs and lounges and a yacht. But unfortunately, because of the weather this year, we're passing on everything. It's going to be too cold probably drizzly and windy to strap myself into a little black dress with the lingerie and push up bra underneath, sparkling jewelry and stilettos that scream "I want to sin."

So I'm hoping that I'll be able to buy a Kinect so Ray and the kids can have fun with that in the evening. Or at least a few other Wii fun group games. Ray really wants the PS3 Move thingy but unless that can be used for FFXI, I'm not buying it.

Woah, woah, woah! He's still alive? I thought for certain he'd be dead by now.

Nothing planned. Probably go to the local VFW and hear some war stories about killing them damn ****'s and insert racial slur about Japanese while at work here.

I'm not quite sure he was alive during the last few Time Square NYE events.

Well I'm recently engaged and my best man is throwing a party at his house and he's actually the one planning all the food for the wedding so he's going to make a couple of things he's thinking of making for the reception, so there will be plenty of food and drinks. I just got out of the hospital after some major surgery a few weeks ago, so I'm looking forward to getting out again.

Instead of regretting not going, you'll regret being there?

Going out to binge drink, and hopefully meeting up with a pretty young lass who's in town for the occasion, but going to a ticketed event.

I'm working today. Apparently there are people at home sitting waiting for the phone to ring just so they can make payments on delinquent credit cards. My job is to tell our collectors who those people are.

I can't be ***** to go out & pay too much for booze anymore just because a year is ending. I get falling down drunk within falling distance of my own Bob-damned bed and it doesn't cost me $10 a drink to do it (well, ok, sometimes it does but that's only if I go in to the wine cellar early).

Going to some friends' house. Drink-schminck, I go there for the giant spread of food they feel obligated to put out for any occasion.

Happy New Year, nerds!

You're all enjoying having found life partners and creating the next generation of humanity. It's not my fault you couldn't escape responsibility longer than you did.

Nope, I haven't seen it either. And what's even more sad is we got it from Netflix and it's been sitting on the tv stand for 3 months now.

I'll get around to watching it one day...
