I'm not sure how much snow we have here, but it's up to my knees in some places, thirteen inches maybe?

My sisters were planning on coming up yesterday from the Virginia/Maryland area. One of them (Va) was snowed in and didn't go anywhere; the other one left near Baltimore - with her nine month old twins - and started driving north. After eighteen hours she showed up at 7:45 this morning. Yeah, we may be crazy but we're capable.

How are the rest of you East Coasters fairing? I just heard Central Park officially has over twenty inches.

Here in the triangle of NC we got about 8 inches. Which will close down the entire area until it melts Smiley: oyvey

The kids and I made some snowmen and a cool snow fort though. Smiley: grin

3 inches maybe, followed by an 1-1.5 inches of rain.

Up to 8 inches here which is very rare. This year was the seventh white christmas in the past 100 years.
It hasn't snowed since Christmas day though and the temperature has been above 0°C and sunny so it's melting pretty fast

We got about 2 feet on Long Island. The real problem was the wind though.

It hasn't snowed here at all. Been fairly cold with a strong wind chill though.

We got just over 18 inches in Boston. The temperature drop/wind combo on Monday was worse than the snow, though.

I don't know what the final measure was on snow fall around here - just shy of two feet I'd guess. My shoulders and upper arms are aching today from shoveling. My work, along with most everything else around was shut down yesterday (Monday).

I didn't actually get out shoveling until after dark when the wind finally died down some.

Amazingly enough we didn't lose power.

All we got here was a good short dose of rain that lasted 45 min. Then 2 days of below freezing cold.
You have to love Texas! Of course the drought we are experiencing is getting really bad!

When we had our snow last week, I finally broke down and bought a snow blower. There was no way in hell I was going to shovel out of that sh:t.

Raining again here in San Diego. The winds are gusting pretty good.

At least my space heater isn't blowing a fuse throughout the building this week.
