I dropped by tonight to briefly say hello and pass along my best wishes to each of you this holiday season. I won't be home this weekend (so please don't rob me) to enjoy my family and poodles since I am in Afghanistan, but know full well that I will be flying out to FOBs all across southern Helmand and Kandahar provinces delivering Christmas mail and meals to our soldiers located out in the field, far away from the nicities of home, messhalls, or even showers.

If I had a Santa hat I'd wear it, but alas, I am required to wear a helmet anyway.

Merry Christmas!

If a Santa hat is good enough gear for an open sleigh pulled by flying livestock, it should be good enough for a chopper pilot!

Merry Christmas to you and yours and keep safe.

Try to avoid getting shot down on x-mas day as I'm sure that wouldn't go over well with the missus.

Naw, stay in the air when you're supposed to be, and then try to fly into space when you aren't. :P

lol. It used to be in november but was moved because it conflicted with Remembrance Day, so they changed it to October so our vets/troops had an entire month of time that was theirs.

I am glad though because my family celebrates canadian and american thanksgivings. So from October > December I can expect to eat turkey related meals for 3/12 weeks, and that aint not bad.

Hey! Merry Christmas Totes. Can't you like paint your helmet red with maybe a white ball stuck on the side or something? That might work!
