I took a nap yesterday. Naps bring on strange dreams. I dreamt that there was a little pimply bump like thing on my leg just above my knee. It looked like it needed squeezing. So, I squeezed it and a pickle squeezed out. We're not talking a midget gherkin here, this was a full 3 to 4 inch pickle. When it squeezed out there were little wiggling tendrils that followed it out...like they'd been feeding on it or something. But the tendrils retreated back into my leg.

Your Carol reminded me of my nightmare.

I'm going to ignore your dream and focus instead on pickles popping out of your holes.

Carol of the Bells is a fav of mine (especially the Trans-Siberian Orchestra one).

I'm also partial to the Little Drummer Boy, from my childhood. And We Three Kings.

Basically, I just like the ones that have a more Gregorian feel to them.

That's probably due to the fact that the jubilation is lost on me (as an atheist). I just like the songs since they are part of tradition.

To the tune of "In the Deep Midwinter"

In the deep Asylum
gbaji rants away.
Jophiel tries to counter
But Flea'lo saves the day.

Trolls are laying flames on flames
Fla-ames o-on flames.
Even though it's zam.com
No-one mentions games.

WoW is long forgotten
Everquest is olde.
So we still drop by here,
Just for EQ Gold.

Some things still unite us all
As the days go by.
No matter where we come from
We hate FFXI.

I take issue with things in this thread, but I will overlook them in light of the holidays.

An actual song, that I like:
Yo Ho Ho

I don't think '30s-'40s Christmas songs count as carols, but I've always been a fan. Anything that was crooned by Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra at some point is a good Christmas song to me.

My favorite has to be Sleigh Ride, because I used to love playing it in high school band.

"Elf's Lament" by Barenaked Ladies will forever be my favorite holiday song.

As for actual carols, though, I'm not sure. I love singing "Rudolph," cause it's fun.

Huh, never heard that one before, though I love the Barenaked Ladies. Thanks for sharing.
