My car almost didn't start this morning. 5 f'ucking degrees outside, and the thing was covered in frost.

I'm moving to LA.

Actually, the snow is fine. Snowblowers win. My car didn't start yesterday (-8F), the school district is shut down for the seconds day in a row because the public works department here blows farm animals while they should be plowing the roads and in a 2 million people metro area I am convinced that there are a good 1.9m people who got their drivers licenses by trading for fetish sex.

We've had 2 days of 80-100km winds with constant rain. Thankfully, we've got the maritime climate or we'd be fucked and buried in snow from all directions.

We got about 2-3 inches of snow Sunday and Monday. It's still cold as balls out there. I'd start a fire but I have to get out to run errands today and I just don't think I should leave a fire burning by itself.

Mine didn't. Apparently the cold zapped the battery. Waiting on a new one to be delivered to the local shop. :(

Countdown to someone posting to say "It's 65 and sunny here! Hurk! hurk! hurk!"

It's cold outside here but not car-stopping cold and only an inch or so of snow on the ground.

It was that way over the weekend and yesterday. Actually it was in the 80s. I should have hit the beach.

It was really foggy this morning and cold (well, 59 degrees cold). Supposed to be partly sunny with a high of 65 today and then it starts getting cold again later this week.

It's chilly here - 30 degree daytime high - but not "brutally cold" as the news would have you believe. Jesus, people, grow a pair already.

Dear America,

There's nothing more satisfying than seeing Americans suffer.

Well, not so much suffer as uncomfortable. Maybe a little out of your comfort zones... at least to the point where you complain about it.
