Don't use paypal to funnel cash to wikileaks. They will freeze your transactional assets and blacklist you from doing business with them.

Just a friendly heads up so you don't get flagged for "terrorist activities".

Might be worth losing my paypal account. I hardly use it.

Paypal buckled and has released the money they froze from being sent to wikileaks as a result of operation payback taking them completely down for a while last week. Power in the hands of the untold masses ftw!

The issue with this is two-fold, as I've been told that if it is set up under your real name/address that information could be whisked away to other agencies, as well as the cash never actually making it to your intended recipient. Best to use another group to send it.

Power, what power? They weren't even able to bring down their blog, much less their site. This is the third time they've frozen their account and they released the funds because it was no doubt easier than refunding to each individual donor. Anonymous would need a helluva lot more botnets than they had to affect a site the size of paypal.

Is there anything you can't turn around and make all about Americans?

I was calling Americans terrorists who attack those that don't think and act like them. It was a joke, don't try and read too much into it.

I know you were joking.. I was ruining your joke by asking you if you meant all of the Americas or just the U.S. since you were generalizing. I think I accomplished my mission.

You have to worry 'bout anyone who'd invite Alma to a party.

Even the anonymous 'bring a friend' clause would exclude him

Fight terrorism with terrorism!

Invite Amal and the night visitors to your local terrorist cell. Bore them with innuendo and ennui.

That's pretty funny b/c my classmates/coworkers just last week wanted to throw a wii-night at my house. I agreed, then I realized that these aren't real gamers and while it might be fun to play games like wii sports, eventually I would like to play real games... games that most have no concept of..... and there would actually be people at my house, something that I'm not too fond of.

So, my plan is not to say anything and hope they forget...

I stand corrected. Oh well, they brought down the website for what, 20 minutes? Yippee. I fail to see the correlation between a website being down and throwing the towel in and releasing $80,000.

I dunno, maybe they didn't want to risk further attacks. It may not have had anything to do with it, my point was simply that it DID go down. It's a lot easier to take a site down than you seem to think. There are only a handful of sites on the internet that anonymous couldn't take down, even if only for 20 minutes.
