I love how Obama and the Repugs are going on about how they are lowering everyone's Taxes with the 2% payroll deduction for at lease the next year.

That is unless you earn less the $20.000 a year ($40,000 for couples) who will actually see their taxes go up. Sure not much but 2% of their payroll taxes was less then if would be if Obama had gotten the Republicans to agree to extend the Making Work Pay (MWP) credit for another year like he is said to have wanted.

And if anyone can't afford to have their taxes raised, it's the working poor.

The entire point is that what I wrote is much more likely to be his line of reasoning than his sadistic desire to go after the purportedly defenseless rich of the nation.
