We have nothing planned for the weekend. I'll be nailing down Christmas plans though. I want to go to see my daughter, but my husband doesn't want to (well, he wants to see his daughter, he just doesn't want to drive 500 miles to spend a day with her and drive home). I'm feeling overly maternal or something, I think I'll go without him. I've made hotel reservations and just gave my boss notice that I'll be taking an additional day or two off before x-mas.

What have you got going?

....I want to live vicariously through the wild, worldy, erotic and exotic lives of the asylumites. Don't let me down.

Tonight I'm writing an editorial for ZAM, then tomorrow I plan on gaming. I got a good amount of my WoW expansion fix last night, but for every thing I do there are several more I still have yet to try, so I've warned my girlfriend that I'll be playing a lot... she's cool with it. Mostly Smiley: lol

Sunday I'm heading down to see my parents and pretty up my car again. I tried selling it on craigslist a couple of weeks ago, and it generated a lot of interest. Had a buyer lined up, but they backed out at the last minute, leaving me in the lurch since I had already e-mailed everyone else saying I had sold it. Ugh. So I hope to sell it now, and next week to get my new car registered. If I sell my old one for what is fair, I'll actually be making a few hundred dollars more than I spent on the new vehicle, so that's pretty exciting.

I need to get some Christmas shopping done as well. I know what the girlfriend wants, but I want to get something else as well. Not sure what, though... I suck at shopping. Same with my parents. Toughest will be my sister, who I want to get a great gift, but I have NO idea what she'd want. Sigh.

Jogging at the park, splitting firewood, sitting in a sauna, watching college ball, reading, practicing on the piano. Rinse/repeat...

I need to get my holiday shopping started done. I also need to clean my apartment, get my car battery tested, and do a few other odd errands. I'm hoping to block off some generous time for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood as well.

I'll try to fit some drunken shenanigans in there somewhere just for you, Elinda.

Fun weekend this weekend!!!

Ashe is turning 4 on Sunday (ZOMG where the hell did time go????)

Screenshot

Sat we have a small birthday party for him. Sunday, Sick and I will tell the kids to pop on the car so we can grab drive thru for lunch (a treat for them,) and run a few errands. Unbeknownst to them, the car will be packed and we're driving to FL for a week vacation. It's their big Christmas present, and something Sick & I have wanted to do for years.

I'll be cleaning and setting up Xmas decorations. Then I'll probably play some video games, watch lots of TV, and generally be lazy. I've earned it.

Is this any good?

I've been game-starved waiting for Fable III to come out for the PC.

If you still need time fillers - Disney Downtown has a bunch of kid stuff; I think they have a thing you can be a rock star and sing on a stage, a fancy arcade, a hot air type balloon ride with characters, little mini scooter boats AND a Ghirardelli ice cream stand.

International Drive is loaded up with arcades, thrill rides and other attractions. You can find Wonderworks here, a ton of mini golf places, shops, I-Max etc. Even the MickeyD's on International Drive is theme park size.

Have FUN!

That is so awesome, I wish my parents had done something like that for us.

Tonight I'll be doing some tacky Christmas shopping. Tomorrow, tacky Christmas party. Sunday, recouperating.

Today: Physics department Christmas shindig. Wallowing in self-pity mixed with relief that school is over but I did horrible at it this semester.
Tonight: Christmas tree get.
This weekend: WoW, the anti-self-pity.

I played about an hour and a half set for a company Christmas party yesterday, had great fun and was paid quite handsomely. I'm going to help set up Christmas decorations somewhere this evening with the ladyfriend (she hasn't told me where yet), and tomorrow I'm going to a rave. Sunday brings yet another Christmas party.

Saturday is helping out the school all day on a School expo (Is that the right word?) kind of thing where I'm going to be taking photos of potential new students all day, photoshopping them and pasting them into a magazine cover with their name for them to take with them.

Sunday I'm going ice skating for the first time again this year, looking forward to that ^^

If you liked Assassin's Creed 2, you'll like Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, as it's pretty much just more of the same. Surprisingly, there's enough plot/story that it's more like a sequel than an expansion pack, and the online multiplayer is hella fun.

I highly recommend it.

Just hanging out at the house today and most of tomorrow. Tomorrow night I'm working a Christmas party at the country club. Sunday I'm working my regular shift which will be boring as hell since it's supposed to rain/sleet/snow all day. No one comes to the club when the weather's bad. =(

Finished up a department potluck gift exchange thingie. Feeling kinda sleepy now. Way way way too much food! :)

Saturday, a nephew's birthday party. I think we're doing some kind of lazer tag miniture golf thing. And there will be cake!

Saturday night, my work group is having a holiday get together at a local Brewery (the same one that is not located anywhere near the Bay area btw). Should be good.

Sunday, a niece is doing the nutcracker for the children's ballet in Balboa Park. Well, she's in 10 performances, but that's the one the whole family will be attending. You'll recall that last year, she played the key role of a mouse. Well, this year she gets to be a soldier. It's kinda like a promotion!

Sunday night, I'll be hanging out with some friends playing board games. Probably pull out Talisman. Oh yeah. Old school...

Then it's back to the grind next week.

Christmas decorating (OR ELSE), making bottles, changing diapers, and my first baby-less outing with my girlfriend to a hafla to go see my troupe (to which I'll soon be returning) belly dance! I get to be out of the house for like, 5-6 hours and I am both elated, guilty, excited and sad about it. Ah, motherhood.

I'm late and I'm posting this on Saturday.

Last night: Went to see a few cousins perform in a luau. It always amazes me to see how independent their hips shake from the rest of their bodies. Samoan slap dance was killer.

Today: Took our oldest kid's "new" car to the mechanic to see how far we need to bend over for repairs. We're bending over pretty far. Also doing housework and yard work, pulling out the Christmas decorations and decorating.

Tomorrow: Completing Christmas decorating and laundry.

I didn't even get to post yesterday.

Today, Saturday, was a work-day like usual. Tonight my wife is going out to see the band a friend of hers plays in, and see some other various friends coming up for the show from Westchester. Tomorrow...well, I guess I'll be replacing the thermostat in my Dodge and maybe cutting up some more firewood.
