Tulip,

Quote:
We've got a friend going through this right now, matter of fact. He got a new job and moved to Nashville from East TN (where she still is) and she makes the bare minimum calls while he rushes home and waits by the phone for her. She says she'll come visit him, she's leaving early Saturday morning, then she'll call Saturday afternoon and say, "Oh, I'm sorry, I was up so late on Friday I just slept too late."

She makes me want to wring her neck. And our friend just defends her over and over. He has officially lived in Nashville for two years, and he's just now realized that she's never coming to visit.

Nashville is in East TN. Seems pretty clear this friend of yours is a loser and should just get over her and move on. You know if he keeps pestering her another 2yrs she'll come around. That's how it works isn't it?

You mean Varus managed to be wrong again, even in a post I mostly agreed with?

Close Varus, but Nashville is not quite east Tennessee.
Edit: Also I agree with the rest of his post though, although loser is a bit harsh.

And Ari, I'll take my chances. Where do I sign up? Smiley: sly

That probably sounded clever in your head as you were typing it.

I'd guess that driving from Mountain City to Nashville is quite a trip.

The thing about crazy is that it's good, bad, good, bad, good, bad. A) It keeps you hanging on way longer than you should. B) You don't know whether you're coming or going. C) It trains you to walk on eggshells, because you keep persisting through the snapping and crying for the good times and the great sex.

This, 100% this. I've... well, never been "official" with a crazy girl, but I've dated or chased several. It's a rollercoaster - the highs are amazingly high, and the lows AMAZINGLY low. In the end it wasn't worth it, so now I'm dating a girl who just keeps me constantly above average, with smaller jumps and dips. Does a lot for my blood pressure Smiley: tongue

Crazy chicks are good for younger guys who are sport f'ucking. It's like hunting bear with a knife: often exhilarating with a good chance of evisceration.

Where's the fun in that? A rather large part of life is experiencing different things and people. If we don't date the cray ***** at some point, how do we eventually truly appreciate the ones who aren't cray?

You still experience the crazy chicks and all of the above, the difference is, theoretically, it's easier to separate yourselves as you were never together. Given, if the chick is really crazy, the difficulty may be the same.

That's only 5-6 hours for a booty call. Each way.

The ranking depends on how much you value cooking and cleaning, I suppose. Smiley: nod
