I went surfing, ate some sushi, smoked a spliff and then had a nap. Pretty average day really.

What do I win?

Of course they don't, they have their own house that they're paying for.

My response was to me making a poor career choice. I'm just trying to find out how it's a poor choice...Maybe I should have chosen a career where I have less benefits so I can fit in? Help me out here...

hey Alma!

How much will you get when you sell your house?

Enough for a 1st class ticket to Europe?

We'll welcome you with our high class shop doorways to sleep in.

How can I sell something that someone else is paying for? I'll invest in a house later in life. I wont have a hard time paying for it, since I'll be getting a couple of thousand dollars for doing nothing when I retire.

The ticket to Europe is free, why pay?

???- If I do get to go to Europe, I'm probably going to do what I did in Korea (assuming the utility pay is separate also), I'm going to max out my rent payment, which is 1.2k a month. I don't know how much apartments cost over there yonder due to the Euro stomping on the dollar, but I would assume that should get me at least a decent place to stay. If not, I can use my Cost of Living Allowance to make up the difference.

So, I'm sorry, I have to decline your offer.

In London 1.2k a month gets you this.

I misread a bit, I thought you invited Alma specifically to sleep in English high class shop doorways, I generally don't expect the English to be so european.

You think people feel bad about having their own property they're paying for rather than saying "How can I sell a house I'm not paying for"?

I'm pretty happy about owning my own home, paid for with my own dollars, thanks for asking.

I'm pretty sure that I said I was going to invest in a home as well, so I'm not sure where you pulled that nonsense from...

So what exactly is anyone supposed to be envious of? That you're in the same situation as a college kid whose parents pay for his dorm room? Yay you!

Who said anything about being envious? You all jumped to conclusions on that on your own. I was merely responding to the statement that I made a poor career choice. I have been asking this whole time, how was this a poor choice, given my current life style? No one has yet answered.

How does living in a brand new 3 bedroom apartment with your own money equate to a broke college student living in a dorm paid by your parents?

Seriously, man... Since I've lived both, I can tell you that they are not the same.

Yea, cause nobody on this forum would know anything IT related whatsoever. Hell, I don't even use a computer. I hired a Yugoslavian midget to do internet things for me. I just speak to it and it types what I post.
