Not surprising, since Flea posted on her Facebook page that her water broke. Weeee!

Go, go Flea-jo!

Well, that makes my prediction in the 50k pool look like it's referring to some other important moment for Joph.

Though I really hope it's not nine and a half hours until the kid's out. That'd suck for Flea.

No news yet. She was given the induction juice an hour or so ago and we're just hanging out and waiting.

Nothing yet. She's in a drug induced slumber and it'll probably be at least an hour or so before anything noteworthy happens at which point I won't be posting anyway.

This is important: If she goes into serious labor before the kitchen closes (assuming they don't have a 24 hour cafeteria), tell the nurse to get some of everything on the menu and wrap it up for when she's delivered. She'll be absolutely starving and if they've closed the kitchen...well, I hope you brought a pizza or something.

I had an awesome nurse who ordered me one of everything on the menu as soon as I delivered Hannah (it was about 8am), and also got me a large strawberry milkshake, which was, oddly, not on the menu. It was easily the most fantastic thing I'd ever had and I proceeded to "write in" a large strawberry milkshake for every meal order the entire time I was in the hospital. I don't recommend it as a weight loss strategy, but **** it, you're only in the hospital for two days and it's the last time anyone is going to be waiting on you or be around to help take care of the baby.

Love to the four of you <3

We got a pizza delivered to the hospital an hour after Thom was born! In an ice storm, no less...

When my best friend had her babies, she was on the PKU diet and miserable the whole time she was pregnant. When she delivered both times, I dutifully brought her whatever she wanted to eat. For the first boy, it was a grilled chicken sandwich and cheesy tater tots from Sonic. The second boy, it was a cheese burger and fries from Steak & Shake.

Eat after delivering?? Ugh. I was way too tired, both times. I just wanted sleep. And some water. Then LOTS of sleep.

After I woke up from my coma, we ordered pizza though.

My friend was subsisting on circus peanuts and PKU formula (which she said was the nastiest **** she ever drank). She was denied most forms of protein to save her children from being retarded. She was pretty darn hungry after pushing. Smiley: lol

You know, if you girls didn't eat so much after delivering you'd be able to keep that weight off.

Well to be fair, I didn't get any sleep before I went into labor either time. Then both times were approx. 12-16 hours of labor so yeah... I was kind of wiped out.

And I had been eating anything and everything I wanted up until that point. =D
