Hanging curtains, putting a new belt on the vacuum, Installing a new ceiling light in the nursery and other assorted tasks.

One nice thing is that Simon Jr. is now a latchkey kid and has a couple chores to do when he gets home every day (vacuum this room, straighten that room, do the dishes from last night, etc). Not much but the cumulative result is that the house stays pretty clean and there's no "OMG we have to spend the weekend cleaning this place".

My b-day fell on the last day of my in-laws lengthy stay at our place earlier this week so it was pretty much over-looked. I'm owed a night or day out this weekend.

I think I'm gonna make the old man hike up some mountain with me and then take me out to dinner and then lay me.

Jophed,

So you have dirty dishes just sitting in your sink all day?

Spending the weekend painting and misc housework. Probably run 5miles as well; I love running at the park with the mutt this time of year.

I put in windows last weekend, so this weekend will be spent finishing the inside and making it look pretty.

Today is homecoming at UF, so all the university is off... including me, as 80% of our work comes from students. So I slept in, and played some FFXI this morning. This afternoon I have a BBQ with friends and my girlfriend, then we're going (ugh) shopping - new shoes and a Halloween costume. Tomorrow is the UF - Mississippi State game, and I got tickets for my dad and I. Sunday I'm not too sure... just hanging around as far as I know. Should be a nice weekend overall :-)

We're trying to get our son to do more around the house now. So far it's not been an easy battle. He's still too young to come home alone too. Which is causing issues for us, since both of us work past 6 p.m.

Haha... I just realized that I called the kid "Simon Jr." rather than "Joph Jr."

No biggie. I got into the habit of saying "Joph Jr." just to avoid confusion as to who I was talking about.

Charmaine's coming home from 6th grade camp today so it's family night tonight. Probably watch Alice in Wonderland on DVD. I need to update my to do list while watching the movie.

Tomorrow, Ray wants to veg all day, but I've got my to do list that I need to do.

Sunday is football Sunday and the Chargers better make up for last week.

You and your hubby and his family are in my prayers, DF.

There's a Boeuf Bourgiognon in the oven, and the li'l lady should be home from work in a half hour. So a few gargles down the rub-a-dub and dinner will be ready for when we stagger home.

Tomorrow she has a designer clothes party with friends so I'll be LoTROing and prolly sink a few ales. Saturday night is going to be watching trashy TV and chilling.

Sunday - not a blimmin' clue.

Best wishes to Mr Darqflame.

Today: getting some homework out of the way, doing a bit of research.
Saturday: traveling 2 hours (one-way) for a wedding ceremony, then coming straight back. Bit more homework. Observatory in the evening (what a wild and crazy Saturday night that is!)
Sunday: study for a test in C++ class and a quiz in calculus. Probably also begin getting things ready for next weekend. (Hawaii!)

Going to Dan McGuinness pub tonight, then to the Frist center for some Impressionism fun. Then across the parking lot to the Flying Saucer.

Tomorrow, a day of blissful nothing.

Sunday, chores, family stuff, etc.

Sorry to hear about the brother-in-law, DF. Smiley: frown

Edit: Forgot what was at the Frist. Smiley: blush

It's that time of the month when your funds are low and you have to make them stretch till the 31st. Sitting at home playing FFXI with new Abyssea LS. And doing more unpacking of my stuff from the move. I still cant find my Neko outfit and I want to wear it for halloween.

Best wishes to you, Darqflame.

Tonight, I'm attending a rave. We got a bunch of mattresses and turned a friend's rather large garage into a bounce house of sorts. Tomorrow, its yard sale day for another friend; going to go help them for the day. On Sunday, a few of us are taking a bike trip to a local dam. It's longer than our usual trips (being 45 miles, with the usual being 30), so I expect to sleep well that evening.

Sweetie,

No...why were you impressed? That's sad, you should really get out more.

Running is boring. Cycling is better.

If you're going to mention weekend mileage, you may as well do more than a typical morning run

Well, it's not even worth mentioning...I did at least ten miles every day in high school.
