Devil was actually pretty good, I'm interested to see where this supposed trilogy will go.

The whole afternoon was very awkward, we made small talk, enjoyed each others company, but there was a definite wall of our mutually broken hearts that sat between us. In hindsight, I don't think he really expects us to ever get back together, so that's a load off my mind. It really just felt like he was lonely, and I can identify with that. It's good to see that we might actually pull of this friendship magic trick.

It was still uncomfortable, I still hate small talk, and I still hate nebulous "lets make plans" goodbyes.

The thing that broke my heart the most about leaving my Ex and still remaining friends was the small talk. We would start talking about "Hey you remember when this happened..." or "Hey you remember that time..." It reminded us both of the good times and made us wonder what happened. As long as you steer clear of the past and focus on the present, you should be okay. Don't start reminiscing. That's when you get depressed and go crawl in a bottle for a couple of months.

I suggested that we untangle our lives. The decision came after a large number of factors, one major one was that our relationship was founded on the agreement that we would always have an open relationship as long as we were honest about it, and played safe at all times. Turns out he was never really OK with that.

I think that you two have not had enough time apart. I have found the best way to move on without all the muddled feelings is a clean break. You just need time apart and while it may be lonely it really is the best way to move on.

On a side note, I finally came out to my parents today, granted it was one of the lamest ways possible, via email, but at least I did it.

This year has been a bizarre year for me, highs and lows all over the @#%^ing place. You get what you wish for I guess.

Happy national coming out day.

I mean seriously, all those ******* had to do was google my email address minus the @gmail.com and they could have had an insight into a whole world of my sexual relations that they never ever wanted to know.

I would say that you have to be willing to take it in the *** but then Nix would be Guru too.
