I don't necessarily disagree with that, but under that logic, that opens the comparison to countless different things, yet it's always "black americans" and hardly anything else. If you're using the comparison under your logic, why not use different comparisons?
The reason why that doesn't happen is because society has accepted that the discrimination against black americans is wrong, so if you can make the comparison to that, then by default this means that the new said discrimination is also wrong. If you picked other comparisons, then it might degrade your argument. This is why people don't like making comparisons to ~philia, bestiality, etc., even though they are making the same exact arguments as homosexuals.
So, until I see others start utilizing the countless other comparisons, to include ~philia and bestiality, I will stand by my point.
