Or you could watch it on Comedy Central when it's on. Trust me, it doesn't lose any of its punch with the censoring.

DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS LARRY?! DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FIND A STRANGER IN THE ALPS?! Smiley: lol

Seems like when it's on TV, I'm never home. Or remember to set the DVR. I fail.

It was available as a Watch Instantly on Netflix a week or two ago when I saw it there.

I wouldn't go into it expecting it to change your world or live up to its immeasurable hype. But it's an amusing film with fun characters and a shit ton of quotable lines.

I'm hesitant to see The Big Lebowski. It seems like one of those cult movies that a lot of people I know like and that I'll hate. Then they like me a little less, and I respect them a little less.

Since the word "dude" annoys me, I figured it's not worth it to even try and watch The Big Lebowski.

I thought it was amusing, but I'll never be one of those quoting lines from it. I like Fargo better.

The Big Lebowski doesn't require one to affect a Minnesota/South Dakota accent in order to quote from it, though.

In other "I just saw this movie" news, I just watched First Blood ("aka Rambo: First Blood") for the first time last night. It was surprisingly good.

Yeah, don't watch it, you'll be disappointed. It takes a certain kind of man to enjoy the Big Lebowski. I won't say a "hero", 'cause what's a hero? But it takes a certain kind of man, a man for the time and place, that fits right there, and well... I lost my train of thought... But well... yeah... don't.

As far as cult comedy films go, I prefer Withnail and I.

Yea. The best of the three four, I think.

Random Trivia (spoilers): There weren't supposed to be any sequels. In the original novel, Trautman has to kill Rambo at the end. Hollywood changed the ending to allow for $equel$.

Random Trivia (spoilers):

Did anyone think of how long Stallone would live? I mean, he's still making Rocky sequels too, for Pete's sake.
