Red,

Of course it could be as simple as the template you go by;

GOP = bad
Conservative = bad

Its telling that you still think GOP = conservative.

Well, it has to when Democrat = liberal.

The healthcare reform bill cuts government spending in the long term.

Also, when did Democrat = higher spender? If you look historically, Republicans have always been the ones to jack up the deficit to ridiculous levels, while democrats tend to come out neutral or ahead of the game.

Are you really saying the govn spending on healthcare will go down in the long term due to obamacare? Really?
Technically, the CBO is saying that, and I'm just agreeing with their numbers after having looked over them.

Thing is all social programs do is enslave people while our military liberates them.
Military programs disable people. Social programs provide for them.

Elinda,

So which military program disabled 10's of millions of americans?
There are currently about 3 million disabled vets. There are many more uncounted and struggling to make a living due to PTSD or head trauma (no marks so it never happened right).

Of course tens of millions have died in wars. Thanks to modern medicine on the battlefield more are surviving to make it home, only to be hounded by the likes of you for needing financial assistance to support themselves and their families.

Get a fuckin' clue what you're talking about varus, your made up bs is irritating me today (prolly pms)

It's a fact that most democrats actually think the GOP still control congress; are you one of them?

Show this fact, please. I would imagine that most Democrats think that Republicans are holding up any progress by Democrats in Congress, which is 100% true.

Locked,

Heard it on Boortz yesterday. They polled Dems leaving the voting booths after voting and asked them who was in control of congress. Without fail all the Democrats polled thought that the GOP was still in control. So I guess that puts you in the minority in your own party.

I'm not a Democrat, but thanks. Lifetime independent (ie, unaffiliated) here.

So, an unofficial poll from one site? Interesting. Got a link to the transcript or the facts, by any chance? I couldn't find any by searching.

Obviously the poll isn't real. Either that or it has a sample size of four.

In any sizable group, either someone is going to know the correct answer or else have no idea and take a shot in the dark, getting the right answer by accident on occasion. A number like "80% of Democrats" would have at least been statistically plausible (if still very unlikely).
