Also, it's not like they're the only ones in charge of the foundation either, unless their kids grow up to be brilliant leaders it's highly unlikely they would ever have any real control, much less be able to dip into the pot like you're suggesting. If they really wanted to avoid inheritance taxes there are lots of easier ways to do it than your crazy conspiracy BS.

Yeah, they could fake their deaths.

(For another three months, at least)
Was that link supposed to show people faking their deaths? b/c it didn't, and it's still easier to shift assets to countries with low/no estate tax (eg. Mexico), annual exclusion "gifts", revocable "living trusts", personal residence trusts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, life insurance trusts, etcetc. There are lawyers that specialize in just avoiding estate taxes. Creating foundations that you have no control over after you die or faking your death would both be silly options to a "problem" that can be solved in so many other ways.

When Big George died, varus stated that it was faked to avoid the implementation of the new estate taxes next year.

Yeah, but with big wigs like Bill and Warren, things like that wouldn't go unnoticed.

Aside from the "faking their deaths" one it's all legal.

I'm pretty sure Bill Gates could easily found a country to cycle his funds through if he was really having trouble finding a way to avoid paying an inheritance tax.
