I had to leave the house this morning at 4am to bring my hubby to the airport. So, I'm at work two hours early. It's Friday though. What you got going?

I've been wanting to rearrange my bedroom. With the old man out of town, I think this is the weekend for that.

Has anyone seen these painted hands advertising for AT&T? There's a whole mess of different ones.

They're kind of neat.

Those ads are pretty cool.

I don't have any plans, but I'm actually off Saturday! And in order to get Saturday off, I had to agree to work 13 hours Sunday! /sigh. Eh, at least I got one weekend day off, haha.

2 birthday parties for my 4 year old. One with friends on Saturday (it better not rain and force them all inside) and one on Sunday for family when we go visit them for the day.

Dinner with the folks tonight, then some last-minute packing. I fly out to the UK tomorrow night, and I'm hoping to spend Sunday in Manchester.

I've not been to the Atlanta Airport in years, but the last time I was there I was remember being impressed with the sculptures that decorated the long walkways between terminals. I must have had time to kill because I recall actually stepping off the conveyor belts to view the art more fully.

Girlfriend is back visiting her folks for the weekend, which means some alone videogame-vegging out for me tonight. Down to visit my parents tomorrow, may or may not stay over depending on if my friends throw a party that night back in Gainesville. Sunday the girlfriend is back - we're cooking dinner together and I promised her a massage.

Should be a good weekend!

Lots and lots of housework, laundry, errands, yardwork this weekend. We're hoping that we can go to Disneyland next Saturday so this weekend is getting everything done.

I also have a buttload of seminars and networking things in the next few weeks so trying to stay ahead of everything.

Don't you like a horde of rabid 4 year olds rampaging through your house?

And my weekend won't really start until Tuesday, if that.
Tomorrow morning is taking photos of my sister on her horse for a school assignment, in the evening I'll be taking photos of her with her friends as P2 of the assignment.
The rest of the Saturday will be spent getting stuff sorted to take photos of my dad at work for another assignment.
Sunday is taking more photos for my assignments, photoshopping and calling/emailing to get work as a photographer and trying to get some sponsoring for more school assignments.
Monday morning will be P3 of my assignment and photographing my sister at school, Monday afternoon more photoshopping.
Then if I'm more or less done with ohotoshopping on Monday I might go to school for a bit on Tuesday to get some prints to show in class on Wednesday.

Going to try and keep my little 10 month old nephew Sunday, study for my business classes, and sneak in some video games. SC II and LOTR :)

Any good movies out?...

If I had a chance to go see movies, I'd watch Salt and The American. I'm a big fan of the new Bourne-style action/spy movies.

I'm taking a lazy weekend. Maybe some minor plant and sod installation in the yard if the rain lets up, but other than that nothing productive for the most part. Overdid it last weekend and last week with all the computer moving.

I'm tempted to go watch The American, but mostly because Anton Corbijn is an amazing photographer.

Going apple picking today (somewhere with a petting zoo, hayrides, the works..). I expect tomorrow will consist of grocery shopping and then baking.

In case anyone was curious how the yard project was shaping up, some before and after picture type thingies

Before:
Screenshot

After-ish (still in progress, but relitivly recent. The edging and the lawn have been improved somewhat since this was taken)
Screenshot

I found I can get sod fairly cheap, so i've been "yarding" out sections of the old gras and replacing it. Also putting a boarder of plastic edging around the lawn, shaped so I can mow the entire lawn rather than having to break out the weed whacker all the time. No fence up yet. Thats turned into a "next year" project with all the funds diverted to the milling machine and other things this year.

Did manage to get some flowers in the front though!

Yard is beginning to look good, Kao.Smiley: smile

I would love to put sod down in our front yard, but first would have to tilt down to the clay and add organic matter such as peat moss in large quantities. It's taken me 2 years just to get a small 2.5' by 4' section workable for a small herb garden. Which I should go out and weed some, but first need to take something to prevent breaking out in a rash, on hands and arms.

You've done a nice job of cleaning that up, it's a heck of an improvement. And I'm a tough critic.
