NOT A POLITICS THREAD.

Instead, it's college football.

Oregon 48, Tennessee 13.

Anyone else want to find something sports-related where Tennessee proceeded to fail spectacularly?

I thought it would be related to this.
Article wrote:

A man in Kentucky shot and killed five people before turning the gun on himself after a domestic dispute on Saturday, Breathitt County Sheriff Ray Clemons told CNN.

Among the dead are the man's wife and stepson, the sheriff said.

Clemons said the shooting happened around midday at a mobile home community of about a dozen trailers.

I felt dirty after hearing of this and actually having genuine concern for Varrus' safety.

I know we're all inbred hicks in the south, but Kentucky =/= Tennessee.

There are plenty of other perfectly good political threads to **** in Varus's Cheerios in. Give us this one opportunity to **** in his Cheerios for other reasons.

Man Seeking Man comments are also welcome here.

Also, turns out their basketball program is dirty from head-to-toe, too. Not a surprise. Pearl is about the slimiest guy in college sports today.

I don't follow basketball at all, but Bruce Pearl *always* struck me as a used car salesman. I never liked him.

Only through adversity can anyone hope to achieve greatness.

One set back hardly defines a program, or season for that matter.

Better qualify further out, like "A decade hardly defines a program", because your Volunqueers are going to be bad for a long time coming. Anyway, sounds like you've given up on this year. That's got to be a bad feeling. I still think you guys can go 4-8.

No, but a continued failure to predict anything is a good sign that maybe you should stop trying to do so.

Also laughable to imagine the little twerp posting this from a computer his dad bought, in an office his dad founded, before leaving work at a job his dad gave him and going home to a trailer on the back forty of his dad's property.
