How does an kindergartner earn a education?

I always knew those grade-schoolers were freeriders. Time to tell those children to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and pay their own way into a private school. No parental help either, that just takes away from the learning experience of having to work on your own in the world. Who cares if they stopped sucking at their mom's teat a couple years ago? They're still sucking at the government's teat and we need to put and end to it when any good Republican would stop caring about a person - after they're born.

Why would you claim liberals try to avoid work?

I'm a lazy-*** liberal and even I've decided that I've avoided enough work as a housewife and I'm back to trying to get a job again.

Actually, I mostly just miss having money to blow on clothes.

Fighting each other to the death. You didn't hear it from me, but I know a guy who knows a guy if you want to get in on some side action.
I didn't listen to it either, because I was at that job thing that I'm able to do because the stimulus bill prevented the economy from totally tanking. Also, hearing about how we're finally getting out of that war that we shouldn't have been driving up the national debt blowing money on in the first place (particularly while simultaneously decreasing our national intake with tax cuts) doesn't really excite me until we get out of the other war we shouldn't be blowing tax payer money on too. It's like patting yourself on the back for a job that's only halfway done.

After eight years of Bush, NOW you're going to be a stickler for grammar and implied meanings? I'm pretty sure he didn't mean he was just going to start handing out PhD's to preschoolers,
so how about this wording instead:

"If America wants to maintain our status as a world power in the future, the government must take the responsibility to give our children the opportunity to earn a world class education today."

or the bushism:

"I believe a good teaching our children is must for future generations."

Actually it's not a direct quote, I just expanded the sentence to the implied meaning.

Where was your outrage when Bush decided to stay in AZ and talk about his Medicare plan rather than do something about Katrina? Even the National Review would admit that one. Or where was your outrage when Bush didn't make a single mention of Richard Reid (the shoe bomber) until 6 days after the incident?

Now before you say "oh you're just excusing Obama's problems by saying W did it!" because I know that's your standard defense, I don't really care about either of them taking vacations. To be fair, Bush as of the beginning of 2009 took 490 vacation days as well as 487 days at Camp David, that's an average of 122.125 days a year (69 days his first year). In Obama's first year, he took 26 vacation days (seen in the last link), and up until the 19th of August, he's taken 70 total days off, 38 vacation days and 32 days at Camp David.

So, Obama is taking fewer vacations than Bush did (and there was a recession after 9/11 too). Bush (at the going rate so far) will have taken 3.21 times as many vacation days as Obama.



But I know you can't be assed to look at all of those dirty facts.
