Basil Marceaux seems to be at least slightly deranged, but don't let that stop him from governing a state.

He lost horribly in the primary gathering about .5% of the votes, and from what I understand anyone can vote in the Tennessee primary elections so it's plausible to say most of those were joke votes.

Would vote for him, he's right. The constitution doesn't say anything about bears. I would simply wrestle with the bear if it came at me. Why we should have gun control, to encourage more wrestling.

Well ya, but the slide turns into a freefall with that one.

I mean, it is Tennessee.

I dunno. I'd vote for Basil before I'd vote for the crazy lady.

I couldn't get past the first few minutes or so. What a completely disorganized mess. That flooding you guys had down there this year wasn't a freak natural disaster - it was the planet trying to wipe its ***.

Sure it does. It says, right in the 2nd Amendment, that we have the right to bear arms.

Bear legs, however, are a privilege.

In all honesty, I've never seen anything like this in any election before. I'm not sure who convinced this guy he should run because you know he didn't come up with the idea on his own. Looks more like a drinking game gone too far.

Basil seems harmless. Ms. Griffin, however, is creeped right up with righteousness.
