but I don't really just want to reject her outright if she's going to try killing herself again over something like that, or use that as an excuse to drop AA. So I don't know what the hell I am going to do. Try and ignore the situation for the weekend I guess.

You have no responsibility to look after the health, welfare or happiness of any other adult. Anything you do for other adults is extra loving caring, and you have the right to feel love for who you feel love for, and to not feel love for those you don't feel love for.

EG, don't fall for emotional blackmail, especially from a stranger.

Last night I finished my Will.
Today will be the first day that I've been here with a car so it's time to venture out! I will be exploring my surroundings, looking for stores, hospitals, and anything else that I may need to know. Come 10AM I'm meeting a group of LGBT families in the area at the Science Centre. Sunday is all play.

Kao, I would ignore the person, if you have no memory of them. Also I'm suspicious of anyone who suddenly comes out of seemingly no where and gives you such a sob story. Not that it may be true, but I heard reports that the scammers, have found FB a gold mine recently.

I went gone actually through something similar to her story, though no AA or drug problems on top of the health and abusive ex. If she actually was a classmate of yours, she needs far more support from professionals right now. If anything just say something nice, about how you hope she gets better soon and then avoid getting involve with her.

Bingo. Stay away from this.

If it makes you feel any better, I guarantee you that if she was/is seeing some sort of mental health/counseling professional, they'd be telling her to stay out of a new relationship right now as well. No good will come of this.

It would probably be cheaper, healthier and smarter just to buy a wife from Ukraine so you can tell this person you're married and unavailable for dating. Or lie. But the Ukrainian chick would be more fun.

Well, I ended up telling her I'm in a kind of complicated off and on relationship, which is why my status on facebook says single, and that its kind of on again but if it doesn't work out i'll keep her in mind someday, maybe. Which is a lie, and I'm not proud of it, but its the least painful solution I could think of.

I looked in the old yearbook, and apperently she did go to my school, but she would have been 1 year behind me and not likely to have been in any of my classes except maybe band. My sister remebers her a little bit, and she says she was always kind of crazy, so yeah.

Can't go with a mail order Ukranian chick, would have to be Georgia or maybe Azerbaijan. I kind of annoyed the Ukranian mafia once. Long story, but apperently they don't like puns. At all. (Or ferrets for that matter.)

What all did that entail? I have enough things now that if something were to happen to me, I'd probably not want the state to take everything, so I've been thinking of doing one of those someday. Did it cost a bunch to get it all official and everything?

I did a really simple one that just reverts my estate to my parents, and it's really easy. All you need to do is get it signed by two witnesses and file it somewhere. It's only with more complex issues that you need to make it more complicated.
