Electric shorts blow manholesFollow

This thread is a bit scary because my dad's job is working for the electric company downtown in their underground substations. Just about a week ago he showed my stepmom and me a giant pile of mangled, burnt up wires from when a transformer had blown underground. The scary part was, he had pictures in his phone from a few days before when he was down there before the explosion. And, of course, then pictures after, but it was the pile of smoldered 6in diameter electrical wires that will probably be in my head forever.
