It's Orange and it's the only other color besides yellow that I can easily read on this background.

Anyway, nice little find on Yahoo. Apparently that survey I was talking about has more influence than what Joph thought..

Well, that explains how you overlooked it so many times. I don't know how else to explain it than perception is reality in the military. So, if it is perceived that you are committing sodomy, then you are committing sodomy. So, by allowing homosexuals to commit sodomy while still existing a ban on sodomy is what you say, contradicting, especially given if a hetero gets busted for it when it's ok for a ****.
Ah, I see what you're saying with that, but that still doesn't make it hypocritical. Being gay isn't defined by that. It'd be like a rule against having sex at all. You allow people to talk about their wives, but disallow sex. It's silly but not hypocritical because marriage isn't defined by sex.

So, if my post was meaningless, then so was hers, which means the people who continued to respond to her posts were also meaningless, which means the whole conversation of like 15 posts
Well, Belikra understood what you meant, but yeah, that was my point.

In the civilian world, you would be totally correct. Unfortunately, that's not how the military works. It doesn't matter that being gay isn't defined by sodomy, the perception is there because that's what couples do, have sex. Neither is a friendship between a male and a female defined by sex or romance, but that is the perception if the relationship is deemed inappropriate.

Bold is very effective at making things stand out. When you bold something, people aren't missing what you're saying and forcing you to use other colours Alma. Their fucking ignoring you.

I don't care if you use colours. I use the same skin as you so I can see it. But an attention ***** like yourself should be trying to get people to see what he writes, but you keep fucking that up. Guess that's not a surprise, as I'm sure there isn't a thing you do that doesn't end up fucked up somehow.

Attention *****? I colored a question that Quadkit keeps conveniently overlooking.. If I colored my entire post or constantly did paragraphs at a time, then you would have a point. Given the fact that it was only 1 sentence, you're overreacting.

Once again, all I'm hearing from Alma is, "I can't grow a beard and talk about sodomy, so gays shouldn't be allowed to be openly gay in the military." It sounds more like a way to excuse your feelings clouding your judgement, honestly.

All I get from you is "I don't like the fact that there can exist a logical explanation for discriminating against homosexuality so I'm just going to say it's all because of fear, hatred and other unrelated feelings."

I've addressed all of your concerns and that's all you have to rely on... /sigh.. oh well.

I was referring to that one post.. If you're talking in general, then once again, what's the purpose of having colors in the first place?

So yes, overreacting..

I let the post go through multiple posts? I didn't know I controlled this conversation. I never addressed the discrimination issue except to point out that you were referring to different things. I also never attacked you, I was just pointing out that you weren't talking about the same thing, because you seemed completely oblivious.

Perception is there in the civilian world too, it's still irrelevant.

Lol, I actually referenced the wrong question the last time. I was thinking of the question that Eske keeps dodging. Fortunately, there were 2 or 3 other references where I did ask you the other question of concern, none of which were in any "bright colors". Belkira already addressed the question, but I'll give you a chance to answer since it was originally directed to you.

Well, when I show up to work, everyone knows my skin color and yours as well. No one knows your sexuality, religious beliefs, political views, fears, etc. until actions are done. So the comparison of a physical trait to a personality trait is a complete failure.

So, you're saying that being born with certain feelings towards something,( something that you didn't know existed prior to birth), must be expressed openly as a part of your life. That telling someone not to tell people or give the perception that they are attracted to little girls is the same thing as telling you not to be white?

Interesting... I would like to know the answer to that question..

Actually I only responded after bard explained what he meant wrt to discrimination and belk explained what she understood you to mean. Then you responded indignantly, and I clarified. Your victim complex is really acting up today.

Ah. She probably didn't answer it because it's a terrible question. You're comparing homosexuality to pedophilia. Try asking a well thought out, reasonable question, and you'll get your answer.

You stated the same thing twice, which indicates either your second post was useless and/or the posts discussed in between them were useless. In either case, you only identified my post as useless.

I'm just stating the facts...

Xsarus wrote:

So, wait. If an organization creates a rule banning activity "x", but allows people to openly admit to doing activity "x" with no repercussions, while chastising others for activity "x", that's not hypocritical? o.o?

I didn't give you permission, I was referring to the site itself. You know that. We already had this conversation when you said "good point" or something similar, so we both know that I didn't give you any permission..

Actually, there is no need to talk about it at all now.

The repeal was overturned...

I didn't Eske that question, I asked her if someone's size was considered a personal trait.

So, are you going to answer the question that you keep blowing off or not?
