...about pressure washing concrete. So I plan to do some more of that this weekend, along with shopping, poolin' and chilling out. Mr. Tare is making me Beef Wellington on Saturday night. :)

I should start putting together some things for our trip to Canada next week but like as not I'll leave it until the last minute and then I'll want to murder someone/myself on Wednesday. Yay!

Whatchoo got?

We stained our deck a couple weeks ago. I picked the power-washing job cuz it looked fun. It became a pain pretty early on, and cramped up my mousing hand.

I'm heading to the mid-west tomorrow morning for the next extended week.

I've never had homemade Beef Wellington - enjoy:)

Applying for an apartment on Saturday. Depending on the outcome of that, the rest of the weekend might be pretty damn busy.

A good acid with a pressure washer and you can work miracles. I have a marble porch that when pressure washed correctly with the acid looks ridiculously amazing.

I haven't been sleeping well, so I'm planning on crashing out pretty hard tonight. Perhaps I'll open a bottle of delicious wine and make myself a nice light dinner and leave the computer off.

Continuing the conversion of my home office into a nursery.

Frankly, it'd be easier for everyone if the kid could just sleep in my desk drawer.

This weekend is nothing but chores:

paying bills
grocery shopping
cleaning house
cleaning up yard
taking stuff to Goodwill
taking documents and papers to Goodwill to be shredded
some clothes shopping for the kids
(hopefully) picking up Anthony's car from the mechanic so he can start driving himself everywhere
washing the cars
grooming the pets
working out
some paperwork and office work

Planning to start tonight so I'm hoping to get it all done so Sunday will actually be a day of rest and maybe treat myself to the movie Salt.

I'd like to go see Salt, if only because I was stuck in Albany one day when they were shooting, and see if I can identify the scene and location. I was trying to cross the Hudson; they had closed down an overpass, one of the spurs of I-787 probably, which wreaked havoc on traffic.

I just can't buy into Jolie as the big action star. Not even full on nude could get me to waste a buck at Redbox.

If I see Inception again, it'll only start another debate between Ray and me and I'm not going to get into it with him again.

I enjoyed Inception and it was a great movie, but I really want to watch a girl beat the **** out of some guy now.

Watching Angie beat the shit out of her husband was a good excuse for Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

She wasn't bad in Wanted or Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Not that those movies were anywhere near as good as Inception, but you have to judge by a different standard since she's a woman sex symbol lunatic.

My husband's favorite scene in the entire movie, when Brad Pitt is kicking her behind the couch in the fight scene. The unedited Director's cut sex scene is pretty good too.

Ok, let me redifine. I don't think Jolie can carry an action movie by herself. Wanted was a great property and could have done without her completely.

I didn't care for Mr. and Mrs Smith. And again, she wasn't the only lead.

I don't know. The chick's hot, and that's all that counts.
