My office relocated from one beach city to another beach city. I prefer my old location for a number of a reasons. But my new location is great except for one thing. Except for me, everyone in this building surfs. I used to surf and plan to again but I don't have a board, I don't have a wetsuit, and I'm not even sure if I could stand on the board after more than a decade of non-surfing.

Today, the sun has come out and it's getting warm and everyone has grabbed their stand up paddle boards and headed down to the beach. They're going to do some stand-up paddle boarding because it's 11:25 in the morning and the surf is rather flat.

I'm grabbing my laptop and remoting in from the beach.

I was being facetious in the whole remoting in from the beach on my laptop. I'm stuck inside while everyone else is out. And I'm doing document review for some litigation stuff that I can't just haul around.

"Working" on the beach high-five!

I love that there are Starbucks close enough to the beach to effectively relay out here.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time during the workday to go take a run when I want. So while I enjoy the view, I don't get out to the water as often as I would like.

Elliptical is for a morning cardio workout before I head into the office.

I would in my neighborhood, but I would rather just roll out of bed and onto the elliptical instead of trying to get fully dressed for a run. The idea of doing intervals on the elliptical naked is rather appealing.

You could also just skip the whole wetsuit thing and go surfing naked as well.

I meant from the crushing pain of hitting the water naked like it was concrete. Road rash blows.
